Why would they possibly release Witt?? Parra fans are already complaining how they dont have a half back to run the show. Now releasing Witt who is what 19-20 yrs old?, would seem ridiculous, he's got the talent to cut it in the NRL, what he needs is support which it would seem he hasnt really got. YOu guys have released a LOT! of good players but releasing him may well be the dumbest of the lot, well thats my opinion anyways.

Who knows? He got a raw deal this year and as I said previously Johns would have struggled behind the Eels forward pack this year. If it is the case then Brian is either placing a lot of faith in Pj's neck and three young kids or we have another big signing coming our way.

Yeah, release Witt.

The Eels still have PJ Marsh and the exceptionally talented and future Kiwi Marcus Perenara at halfback.

the fact is, Witt couldn't tie up Mat Head and Joe Williams's shoe lace's at the moment! and he's got a jump on them in playing first grade for 1 whole season.

He's also been finding difficult to dominate in Premier league and there's a bloke already there with who has the same ability and that's Tim Smith. As well as Smith we have Australian school boys captain Blake Green and Junior Kiwi's half back Marcus Peranara.

Smith hasn't really dominated in Premier League this year either. Perenara was pretty much a passenger according to newspaper reports during the Bartercard Cup GF. They both have their positives and negatives as does Witt.

Todd Byrne to the Warriors, Thomas Leuluai to Super League. Apparently the legendary old man is currently in ESL scouting out clubs for Looloo.

Byrne to the Warriors was in one of yesterdays papers, cant remember which one, think it may've been the SMH.
