On Salmon. 15 other clubs had a chance. It still took him 3mths to find a contract and I am guessing on minimum. That does say something. And not suggesting he isnt talented. But he would of been snapped up far quicker if was greater interest.
On Lodge I heard he has signed with our club and will be announced in the new year.
Thanks for the parra news daily update.
Lodge was a prop Gus used to love saying he'd bring back to penrith if he ever had the chance.... good thing he didn't.
"Talent" is something so subjective, its just another tagline, like when folks say, theres not enough "Quality" for expansion or theres a "Cultural" issue at this or that club.
All Bullshit Buzz words, all reserve graders have talent, let alone those who debut in 1st grade, theres Quality everywhere, even at the (wooden spooners) Bronx, and enough players in PNG, NZ, PIs, QLD, AND NSW to cover another 2-4 Expansion teams with the same amount of "Quality" we see now across most teams, and every "club" has a "Cultral" issue coz being happy 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year is just boring
Jaemon Salmon is great buy coz we dont need him, but if injury arises he can plug that hole, and be hungry enough to perform, there's so many reserve graders that never get a chance, if we had 2 more expansion clubs this could see a better game overall, due to the standards being SOoO high at the moment, everyone wants to see a "super Stacked" team play another "Super Stacked" team,
Thats what origins for? Isnt it. Thats why RU failed, too many state teams, where club games were the better games (eastwood, randwick etc)
The divide between the best and worst sides is huge, and the more rookies getting blooded the better the games will be, getting pretty sick of seeing storm and roosters dominate the NRL, when they dont blood rookies like clubs like panthers, sharks and tigers
