I may be many things but ‘dude’ I am not.

Read the post in its entirety could equally be interpreted as glass half full, I’ll leave it that.
Dude! After all the sad pandaring you do, the "dude" is the part your upset about

Ok, I'LL LEAVE IT AT THAT ASWELL then

Btw i betcha theres gonna be a post here somewhere same time last year where tjis guy has pandaered the same speech on Capewell, being "down the pecking order" at the sharks

I’d love us to sign Benji, I know Romey is his biggest fan.

I just can’t see that happening, even on minimum wage. Unfortunately
I think he would have a massive effect on our young squad, there is soo much upside, AND the chance to just give it to the TIGERS! for not sticking by their premiership winning half, they'd have nothing if it wasn't for him, and to boot he was their best player this season, i'll admit defence is a worry, but if your not 1st string and just playing cover then what are we expecting..
Ive said this before, if we had benji instead of Burton in that draw versus knights round 3, he pots a field goal in 1st or 2nd go at it, not miss all 5 attempts, you can not coach the talent and instinctiveness he possesses

Salmon did not much of a run in first grade at parra .His coach is Arthur’s that should explain a lot .The career killer

I agree mate, I think it would be a super signing. I just don’t think they’ll go that route. Cap space is too tight and he’d be a bit of a luxury signing

We just won the minor premiership, when is there going to be a better time, i feel the stars align for this, seriously Ivan brought him back to the Tigers (his 1st love) then the break up, (with Ivan leaving), now could be the Make up!! You know thats the best part too

That’s what I’m worried about. Salmon will have an amazing year for us, only to sign with someone else. Probably the Roosters ala Amos

He like many others (across all sides) are playing for there NRL careers and that can only be a good thing so he will be desperate to show he has something to offer.

There remains a lot of uncertainty around Crichton (although I expect him to be retained), Mansour and Naden.

I think it is important whatever additional back ups are brought in to bolster are outside backs someone needs to have pace, real speed to give us that extra dimension. Jennings, Whare and now Salmon are not exactly speedsters and I think we need at least one outside back, back up who has such a quality.

When did Jennings ever not have speed?
Mansauce never had it, Whare too, NADEN definitely has it, im sure we'll be ok with staines To'O and Edwards covering the speed part of our journey

The West Tigers fans nickname for Robert was the ‘slug’ and he is not a speedster, never was unlike his brother Michael in his early years.

I’m sure we will be OK with Staines, To’o and Edwards assuming they all stay fit and healthy although now that you mention it only Staines of the three you mention is a genuine speedster while the other two are not noted for the pace, they have other attributes.

There you go more glass half full ammunition for you, once a sad sack always a sad sack I guess.

On Salmon. 15 other clubs had a chance. It still took him 3mths to find a contract and I am guessing on minimum. That does say something. And not suggesting he isnt talented. But he would of been snapped up far quicker if was greater interest.
On Lodge I heard he has signed with our club and will be announced in the new year.

Well mansour wasn't doing that, i could honestly say Slug might do a bit better

Josh Mansour was never quick, even before his ACL injury sustained at his time when he was arguably at his peak SOO and Kangeroo representative.

The Panthers have been blessed with many fine wingers throughout our history the major of whom you wouldn’t be aware of given your age and the fact you weren’t born at the time.

I’ve been fortunate enough to having seen them all over the years and frankly Josh Mansour is at least the equal of our best and at the same time a terrific human being and clubman.

Josh Mansour achievements and loyalty throughout his career with our club should be highly respected and I find it quite sad a few on here fail to recognise such a fact.

Mansour lost me when he threw all of his toys out of the cot, when informed he will not be offered a new contract.

There isn’t a whole lot of credibility around the salary cap as it is without your club suddenly coming up with say $400k a season to fit Lodge under your cap

Thanks for the parra news daily update.

Lodge was a prop Gus used to love saying he'd bring back to penrith if he ever had the chance.... good thing he didn't.

"Talent" is something so subjective, its just another tagline, like when folks say, theres not enough "Quality" for expansion or theres a "Cultural" issue at this or that club.
All Bullshit Buzz words, all reserve graders have talent, let alone those who debut in 1st grade, theres Quality everywhere, even at the (wooden spooners) Bronx, and enough players in PNG, NZ, PIs, QLD, AND NSW to cover another 2-4 Expansion teams with the same amount of "Quality" we see now across most teams, and every "club" has a "Cultral" issue coz being happy 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year is just boring

Jaemon Salmon is great buy coz we dont need him, but if injury arises he can plug that hole, and be hungry enough to perform, there's so many reserve graders that never get a chance, if we had 2 more expansion clubs this could see a better game overall, due to the standards being SOoO high at the moment, everyone wants to see a "super Stacked" team play another "Super Stacked" team,
Thats what origins for? Isnt it. Thats why RU failed, too many state teams, where club games were the better games (eastwood, randwick etc)

The divide between the best and worst sides is huge, and the more rookies getting blooded the better the games will be, getting pretty sick of seeing storm and roosters dominate the NRL, when they dont blood rookies like clubs like panthers, sharks and tigers
