Mansour lost me when he threw all of his toys out of the cot, when informed he will not be offered a new contract.

He didn’t do any such thing. After being informed by Cleary & Cameron he was free to look elsewhere and would not be given an extension to his current deal he expressed his disappointment in an interview. He was entirely entitled to give an honest view on his situation, would you have preferred he lied. The whole toys out the cot is bullshit.

Even if you held the position he shouldn’t have publicly expressed his displeasure at his situation everything he did for our club in his nine years, 158 games, many more games missed thru ACL and serious facial injuries but he thru all his toys out of the cot in one interview so f**k Josh not good enough. Is that really what your saying.

Lets do the whole scales of justice thing here, on the one side you’ve got the loyalty, 158 games, signed for less to stay with us twice, fantastic ambassador and clubman (I could go on) and on the other side of the scales the negative side he expressed his disappointment in a media interview around not being offered a new deal, so that one blemish, if you can even call it that overwhelms everything that he gave to our club.

Not a lot shocks me on here, but the disrespect to Josh Mansour from a few does and that extends to his treatment by the club who should have been in a better position to perhaps give him a hint or an inkling of his situation mid season rather than days after the GF.

He went to the media, and had a sook. It is that simple.

I know that, but it really upsets me. Not a lot does, but the disrespect to such a fantastic person, player and loyal servant is just the pits mate.

He’s a bloody legend caught up in unfortunate circumstances. It’s a shame but we move on.

I really do understand the whole salary cap is a business thing and tough decisions need to be made. That’s not the issue here.

The bigger picture clearly escapes Alice and Jane who sadly are either incapable or don’t have the mental capacity to think outside the square thing because apparently Josh thru the toys out of the cot.

Everyone this Panther legend achieved in his nine years with us was undone in one media interview. It’s that simple according to Jane.

It is my opinion, Kilkenny. I do acknowledge his contributions to the club, as does Alice, the facts is that Josh is 30, and is slowing down. He is being replaced by a faster, and younger player. It is that simple.

From the mighty Gus Gould's Twitter

Panther signs Jaeman Salmon. I've watched Jaemon play since he was 9yo. Tackle, Tag football, he was standout. Highly skilful playmaker. Tough. Always believed he was NRL player provided he got out of his own way. Needs to knuckle down. Still only 22. He can make it big. Good buy

Of course he didn’t, I don’t know why you pay any attention to Jane, she has proven herself to be a class A fool. The fact that she says that, is a clear indication that he did no such thing.

Did Sauce even show up to preseason? Lol cya mate.

I don't think he's returned yet. Doesn'r appear (via instagram the source of all knowledge) to be interacting with other Penrith players. To me this speaks volumes.

A couple of nights ago I saw the doco 'The team' about the Aus cricket team after sandpaper gate.

Langer wrote up on the board.....IT'S WE NOt ME'.

I think that speaks volumes. Sauce is NOT thinking about what's best for the club or his player-mates.

If he was he's be prepared to knuckle down, mentor the kids comming through, play reggies and help out when needed in 1st grade. It's called being a team player.

(comming into grade Mansour pushed someone else out, that's how it works.)

Sauce made a huge mistake in going to the media over that breakfast meeting.....I think in years to come he'll regret his outburst......

I agree Sauce has been a good club player, loyal, and worked hard.

In my opinion I thought his little tanty with Weidler has undone some of his good work. All because he was told he wasn't first choice winger any longer. The club rightly have chosen to go with a younger kid, whose's speed is exceptional.

In a lot of respects Sauce created this by his response to a breakfast meeting.

The club chose to meet him and tell him face to face. Heck of a lot better than what some footy players get.

Is Sauce didn't realise their were kids comming through to take his place. He's not a very smart bloke. That's all I can say.

Franklin for FFS forget comparisons the poor bloke deserved better and he should have been told half way thru the season things were looking tight for our cap.

Both loyal servants both love their clubs

One whinged. Didn't show for pre season

One took it on the chin. Scored tries and forced the clubs hand

As for telling him. Forcing him to play NSW Cup isn't better for him

There is a thing called 'being gracious' when being told difficult things.

Tamou did this when told the club weren't prepared to re-sign him for anything more than 12months on a reduced contract.

Tamou then went out and had possibly his best year at the club.

Mansour when told he wasn't the club's first choice winger for the up comming year.

Ran to the media and kicked up a fuss.

I know which attitude screams team and we.

I know which doesn't.

It could be spin, but pretty sure Ivan said that the Origin squad members, and other senior players weren't required back until the new year.

Outside the 5 Origin players, I haven't seen Mansour, Whare or Api in any training photos.
