They just signed 2 wingers though? Would be a club that Josh can help. Their pack is shite and he used to carry our plodders on his own at some points
He has been doing a lot of training privately with Cotric who has signed with the dogs.the tigers are bailing at the 3 years he wants .So it’s tigers or bulldogs

question has been raised on W/T forum.......that if Sauce goes to W/T we might release Laurie.

I answered that I thought that might be a very good reason on why Laurie stays.....get's upgraded into the 30 even.....what do others think ?

It’s unlikely we’ll release him, he cost us very little and may be important, should we pick up some injuries.

He allows Martin or Kikau to spend time in the middle though. So can offer something to the 17
I really think Issah Yeo is the glue of this team as a link player. Martin may be good at lock but he lacks that ball playing link play. It's like the difference between Mitch Kenny and Api. When Kenny's we have to pull it back and play more simple footy. Less creative stuff and more hard dummy half runs up the middle when Kenny's on. It's not terrible or anything but it's not ideal and when you head into the finals you want to be playing your best brand of footy. Yeo needs to be there lock for 80 minutes or someone similar for the team to play our best football.

Kikau moves there and Crichton and Luai become less effective without him drawing in defenders so it's not something I'd be eager to do.

At the Panthers he walked into a side on the up, and Barrett was a huge part of last year.

The reason for our success last year was the recruitment of Api and all the young blokes having a bit more experience under their belts and playing a bit closer to their potential.

Next year Cameron Cieraldo will be coaching the attack and I don’t think you’ll see much change.

It’s easy to say that was all Barrett and sure, he probably helped Nathan and Romey a fair bit, but I don’t think he played as big a roll as he’s getting credit for.

You say Ivan walked into a great squad, well, so did Barrett.

Ivan’s recruitment was poor when for the Tigers, I agree.

Ivan’s recruitment for us has been top notch so far. There’s no denying that.

Agree on Barrett. Most of our juniors had Barrett coming through the ranks. I don't see how he could have taught them much more than they already knew.

Interesting perspective. I ,like everyone, credit Barett but correlation =/= causation a lot of times.
