for those who have seen both, how does he shape up against Beau Henry..talent wise??

Yes - because our U20s have managed to win a whopping 3 games this season. I can't see why we would need to buy any juniors
Actually - you can have all of those guys if you want?
just on robosharks comments..
our club more than anyone in the league have in the past 3 seasons have been raped and pileaged of player talent so much so that the cupboard in the under 20's squad is very bare and all but 3 0r 4 players probably wouldn't make any other side in the comp.
Bulldogs decide they don't want Reni Maitua
By Josh Massoud and James Phelps From:The Daily Telegraph August 18
THERE will be no sentimental homecoming for Reni Maitua next season, with the Bulldogs yesterday declining to offer their one-time utility a lifeline in a move that all but guarantees another former star - Greg Eastwood - will now return to Belmore instead.
Canterbury were widely tipped to welcome Maitua back when his drugs suspension end in May 2011, but a meeting last Friday with coach Kevin Moore and CEO Todd Greenberg failed to satisfy either party. Maitua is now favoured to join Parramatta, whose board on Monday night unanimously gave Eels CEO Paul Osborne its blessing to make an offer.
Three other clubs have also expressed interest, but the Eels are keen to fill New Zealand-bound Feleti Mateo's No. 13 jersey.
Greenberg last night confirmed the Bulldogs were out of the running. "We had a frank and open discussion with Reni and we've decided not to reopen it," he said.
"Sometimes you have to go through a process before making a tough decision and we've done that.
"If our recruitment around Greg Eastwood comes off, then there's probably not enough room for another back-rower at the club.
"We really wish Reni well because he is still held in high esteem at the club."
Maitua's agent Sam Ayoub said there was no shortage of suitors for the 29-year-old.
"Reni wanted to do the right thing and repay the Bulldogs, and things could've been handled a little better from their end," Ayoub said.
Eastwood has been granted permission to break his three-year deal with Leeds and return to the Bulldogs, but both clubs are still negotiating a transfer fee.
EXPECTING to sign veteran centre Colin Best this week, Cronulla have also emerged as a surprise contender for another evergreen three-quarter - Eric Grothe Jr.
Grothe, 30, is looking less likely to stay at Parramatta beyond this year and lives in Cronulla, where he's also just opened a cafe with Sharks and former Eels hooker John Morris.
I actually think they are a good bunch, just very young.
Most of them will be there for another 2 or 3 years
New Half For Eels
A halfback who once saved a drowning man has been signed to resuscitate Parramatta's floundering halves. Roosters under-20 star Brad Murray has inked a two-year contract with the Eels as they bid to boost their inside-back depth.

After some encouraging medical reports in recent weeks, Taniela Tuiaki now looks set to win a new contract at the Tigers for 2011. A couple of months ago, the club was considering cutting the giant winger loose but he is set for a reprieve.
"We want to keep Taniela and the news has been better in the last few weeks," coach Tim Sheens says.
"He is coming along slowly...for a while we even thought he may be back this season but now that won't be happening."
Tuiaki will still need to pass a thorough medical check on the leg that has kept him out all season before he is given a new deal.

Josh doesn't have Ando number, how else can we make it public knowledge who we are after.OT: How come the (FC) board need to consent to player signings ? Why doesn't Ando have full autonomy ? WTF ???
IIRC it's the same everywhere. Coach works with recruitment team to draw up shortlist of targets and range of offers. It's then palmed off to someone else to do the negotiating with the player (Ozzie appears to have big part in this). And it's usually not a matter of the board giving consent, more stating the have no qualms over signing a particular player, but in the case of someone like Maitua with his past there's probably more in depth boardroom discussion, as opposed to someone like Colin Best where'd they'd probably go "So the coach wants this player? That's fine go ahead and negotiate"OT: How come the (FC) board need to consent to player signings ? Why doesn't Ando have full autonomy ? WTF ???
not player related .... and i don't know if its well known, but apparently our former media man Ross Smart is now doing that same job for the doggies
