What do you mean?
this you dope http://www.parraeels.com.au/news/2014/07/02/eels_announce_the_premiership_club.html
What do you mean?
Not referring to the $900 - $3k corporate partnership one - that is simply an introductory sponsorship level for Small to Medium businesses.
The Premiership Club is $30,000 entry fee I am led to believe.
Yes a shellharbour sharks junior. Not sure why they want a transfer fee, considering he is off contract this year and doesn't appear to be in their plans.
Prior to announcing the launch of the Premiership Club mid-2014, the club approached the NRL and outlined how it was proposing that the Premiership Club would operate and with the agreement of the NRL announced the launch. I dont know the specifics of this but it was obviously dealt with correctly at the time and was not designed to be similar to the Thoroughbreds.
TPA's are not as cut and dried as some people think:

So even though the club doesn't arrange it and the company is not related to the club, the club still has to know and report on these payments and seek NRL approval.
Of course the Premiership Club might just be a way of getting the maximum out of local business for the Marquee Player Allowance.
Yeah so? I get the rules and so do all the other NRL clubs. The best run ones though have made sure that they have links to the big money bags that are available. What have we done???
All that I can see, is we finally had someone that can make this happen from that elusive rich list sector, that can be our go between the worlds of haves and have nots and what do we do? Put it in the to hard basket and let him walk. Well played once again.
The Dogs have coin because they have a heap if mid sized businesses like concreters, egg producers, builders and real estate agents who all collectively support the team.
but are these outside the cap?
Well that's the fine line that the clubs walk.
Can you name the big money bags that are supporting Roosters and Bulldogs for me please?
I wouldn't say play maker. Lol. Ima call him a ball distributor.

David Gyngell...Channel 9...
Agreed, and why we took our Premiership Club concept to the NRL before launching it.
How is Gyngall doing this outside of the Cap or is he just providing sponsorship?

I'm guessing Sonny Bill Williams and James Maloney didn't appear on the footy show for free... Maloney as a regular host
