Dylan Edwards has been brilliant, arguably our most influential player this past two and a bit seasons. Probably my favourite player. Given his age, injury history and style of player that he is a four year deal is one year too long. Three years massive upgrade hence good money but shouldn’t be stretched to four years.

Have to agree. Especially since we have To'o locked up. His meters allow us to be flexible with what type a fullback we want.

The team needs to evolve or we will eventually fall in a heap

We have to evolve in a way that accommodates the need if our salary cap, at the same time knowing we have quality players who may be able to step up and fill the void.

Nathan plays a certain style. We pick guys to fit that style. While he is here we will see only really minor tweeks

Nathan will be quite different by the time he's 30. Easy to forget he's still a pup really

Yeah but he isn't going to just start being a player who goes wide early or anything like that.

Edwards isn't a player that needs speed in the same boat. Signing him until he is 32 is fine especially as he can always go to the wing if it plays out that way

Edwards is dreadful on the wing. A 32- year- old version would be worse.

Wouldn't surprise me if the club offers the extra year or so. As others have said his positioning of players in defence is 2nd to none. Won't change with age either.

Can see this happening. Especially if the Luai deal can be started and well on the way in the next couple of weeks too.
