Have to agree that he would look good in a sharks jersey.

also have to agree that he did is easy in the 2nd half...

my ball by ball commentary went astray in the 2nd half. I hit the lounge and had a nanny nap. Sorry.

Cheers

Just great, another of Rickys mid season signing's, the last 3 have really set the team alight, Donnelly, Maitua & Nutley, now he wants to sign a player who has previious issues.

So now that means Lewis has now been snubbed taking that into consideration, their should be no compliants if he leaves the club

What kind of twisted logic is that? Don't sign a 1st grade standard halfback to keep a NSW Cup halfback who has barely played first grade in the last coule of years happy? You're weird

I reckon the papers up here will be spewing tomorrow if Smith goes to the Sharks. From what the commentators have said at halftime is that Des Morris, the East Presso is going to dig his heels in to keep Smith.

Morris would obviously be pissed off to lose a player of this standard, but the the fact is it's every guy's dream, and right, to play at the top level.

If any club boss would deny one of his players that, not only would he be a selfish dickhead, but he would severly dent the guy's attitude toward that guy and that club.

The main obstacle to this may be the Broncs.
ABC guy was saying after the game what a plus Smith would be at hooker firsts.

Cullen has given us the okay to sign him - just hope there ain't a change of heart.

I saw the highlights and smith fell off some tackles, but his mind would have been on pulling on the mighty black, white and blue and talking to the stickman.
Putting his body on the line when his up 24 blot for Brisbane Easts?
Ah, no!

Get it done and build the attack around a bloke who can put others through holes and create opportunities.

This should have been done in the off season. Didn't need to be nostradamus to see there wasn't enough points in the other signings.

It's only the Sharks who would pay compensation for a player no-one wants. He has hardly any more creativity than SFP. Parra better with Jeff Robson (would you want him?). Trent recommends him from his Wigan days - huge wrap.

Smith at best is average.Certainly no Carney, who we werent even linked with.

You clearly have no knowledge of rugby league if you are claiming Smith has no creativity he is miles ahead of porter in regards to ball playing abilities , Smiths defence isnt as good as porters however his ball skills are far far superior Smith is exactly what we need a half with some creativity.
