Merritt needs to go to ESL if he wants to resurrect his career, only thing left in Australia is an ignominious end to a career that shouldn't have one

He is at the point where he is still healthy enough (rarely gets injured), understands the game well enough and is quick enough to play NRL. But his speed has just sunk below the point where he can have a big impact and he has no presence in defence. So he has gone from a try scoring machine to an average player who occasionally makes a bad defensive decision. He could go to the ESL where he has more space and be back at scoring 25 a season in no time. It would make no else for him to retire right now, but the top level has surpassed him

He is way too good for NSW Cup as well, he was well and truly a class above on the weekend. Which is different to someone like Tuquiri who looks shit even in NSW Cup.

Benji to the Dragons is still on. Unless they do a Canterbury. Benji is happy with the offer he's got from the Dragons and will take it but they haven't put it in writing yet.

Oh no ! people on Twitter are reporting that the Sharks are now favourites. As you seem to have all the inside info, what's your mail ?

If Hayne played centre where he belongs he would be one of the first players picked for Aust/NSW, Inglis or anyone else would not be able to corral him

When fit Hayne is the best player in the game when he plays fullback. That is his position and you'd be crazy to move him anywhere else.

Really! Based on what evidence? 2009? He chokes under pressure. You are turning it up. Inglis is so far ahead of Hayne it is embarassing.

He carried his side to a GF and they almost won against a team a mile over the cap. Parra without Hayne are barely good enough to win a wooden spoon, with him they are actually a decent side.

Anyway as of right now Inglis and Hayne have won the same amount of premierships. At least Hayne got his team to the GF, Inglis can't do that with a much better squad than Hayne had.

Hayne is a far bigger threat from centre than fullback and I hope he plays fullback for the Blues

Looks like the Storm could lose both Hoffman and Proctor

http://rugbyleagueweek.com.au/storm-struggling-star-forwards/

I have to laugh, if the Storm hadn't chosen to trump Brisbane's million dollar offer for Smith they wouldn't be having this problem. I know people might think the Broncos would be having it, nope, we ain't playing big dollars for Cronk and Slater at the same time. If they had let Smith go they would be keeping these two and would have probably picked up a disgruntled McCullough as well. With McCullough's current form I am certainly happy the Storm out bid us, despite my desire to see Smith in Broncos colours and especially after reading that article. Looks like Belamy is picking the right time to get out.
