Rumoured Targets 3

Yeah, it's like someone saying they want to give you a blowjob in return for playing video games all day. Does not compute.

Wouldn't mind Moga, either. Is injury all that's stalled his career... or is there a deeper story there, I wonder? Had all the talent in the world in the 20's and then completely disappeared.

I believe he's had 3 knee reconstructions already so I believe just unlucky. Although he was stood down from Samoa for an incident in fortitude valley although it sounded pretty minor. If he can stay fit he would walk into our backline

Interesting, his knee/s can't be real flash... but that puts him in the bargain bin with a lot of potential upside. I wouldn't be disappointed to have him in the squad.

Ive seen the rumour that Stone who is now coaching Huddersfield wants to swap Wardle for Stockwell next year. however it seems to good to be true

Stockwell has really frustrated me. Up until he was injured last year, he was playing outstanding football and I thought he was going to lead our pack this year. Instead during the games he played in 2016 he appeared to be going through the emotions. The talent is there, if only he can get his sh!t together.

So our strategy appears to be 'sit and wait' for a few unexpected gems to pop up. Not a bad strategy, there was loads of movement last off season so hopefully we can play a part in that this offseason. The way it sounds is we might be keeping an eye over a few players from finals teams, maybe.

Interesting at the start of the video as well where he talks about how he's never seen a group of players so unfit as our squad at the start of this year.

We have been an unfit team for as long as I can remember. On our best day, we never finish a game strong and have always faded out. It's no wonder we always get hit with injuries, muscle fatigue and mental fatigue increases your chances of injury significantly.

He is definitely calling out players having a bit of a lazy off season and turning up to pre season training more out of shape than they should be.

Good to see he is bringing a change of expectation to the club in many areas. Good stuff.

Had we not jumped on the first half available (Hodko) we might have actually picked up a few of the gems last season...

oh, well. Theres always next time.

Edit: im surprised at how upbeat Browny is. I wouldnt blame him for a second if he dashed off to a better prospect.

Im glad he is sticking with it. He will deserve pretty much all the credit for any small glory we achieve in the next decade...

There is no doubt Brown has a plan and he is backing that to work. He has been unperturped by the shitness of this season because he knew it was coming with the cleanout that had to occur

This offseason is going to be key for the club. The young guys now know what is expected of them, recruitment requirements are outlined pretty clearly and back of house management needs an overhaul. If the club is serious about a turn around then there is a lot that needs to be achieved before the 2017 season

Vaughan, Kostjasyn,Mead would be fantastic, and then hope to find some fringe 20-22 year olds, then make our biggest push at the ens of next season, where we can build our Roster around Our young halves.

There are 2 names I had heard thrown about that haven't appeared on that list unfortunately. Still, very exciting. Will anyone give Mids a bit of a break if we get the majority of them over the line? Doubt it.

Heighington would be such a good signing for you guys. The guy is the ultimate professional and tremendous locker room guy who is always getting players together outside of footy. He is less effective as he was a few years ago but coming off the bench he does a very good job.

Douglas on the other hand is a career loser who has been ineffective since leaving the Sharks aggressive pack. Bird would give your younger guys confidence and give good service.

Good luck with the rebuild. It'll be interesting to see how Mooney does this without the benefit of being in Sydney. The 2011 season was horrible for us and we won 7 games. He went out and brought in Sam Tagatase mid season then Bryce Gibbs, Andrew Fifita, Sosia Feki, Issac De Gois, Mark Taufau, Todd Carney, Ben Ross and Jeff Robson. We finished 7th the next year, 5th the year after. All the ASADA stuff came up which gave us the spoon in 2014 but back up to 6th(had a chance at 4th in the last rd) in 2015.

That off season changed our future and whilst we got lucky with salary cap issues at the Tigers giving us Fifita and Carney being sacked guys like Ross, Robson, Gibbs took our back from a bunch of battlers and kids to a pack that could compete and gave us depth. That off season then set us up Luke Lewis, Michael Gordon, Chris Heighington and Beau Ryan the next year.

Good luck guys.
