Yeah I would take Lillyman and Akaoula for sure. Neither are the pack leader we are looking for, but Lillyman would be a much superior version of what we are going for with Starling, and Akaoula is fierce. He has cult hero potential off the bench.

Rona would be great if the Force get cut.

James Hooper mentioned we were a month or so ago but haven't heard anything since then.

There is still a large number of players off contract that could help our team. I've named some realistic ones,

Jai Arrow, Joe Ofahengaue, Alex Glenn, Will Hopoate, Adam Elliott, Fa'amanu Brown, Jeremy Latimore, Sam Tagataese, Agnatius Paasi, Brenton Lawrence, NAS, Cronk, Ata Hingano, Ryan Hoffman, Albert Vete, Charnze Nichols Kolkstad, Gideon Gela Mosby, George Jennings, Peni Terepo, Sitaleki Akauola, Aaron Gray, Josh Dugan, Tim Lafai, Blake Ferguson, Michael Gordon, Daniel Tupou, Johnny Tuivasa Sheck, Kevin Naiqama.

While it feels like we are missing out constantly there are still plenty of players left that can improve our team.

Don't forget we have Pythian to come back next year. Not sure if he can play centre but he seems to have talent.

Pythian is the joker in the pack for next season, I'm not exactly sure where he fits in. Brown clearly rates him given he was prepared to give him the fullback jersey this year and imo he has shown that he is worth persevering with. If we can't snag a quality half for 2018 then I think he could play at 6 or 7 next year alongside Lamb, if we don't need a half then he could maybe play at centre or bench utility.

Pythian has a really unfortunate injury history, can't seem to string more than about five games together. Hopefully he gets a bit of luck and doesn't end up like David seage.

I just see that canberra and bulldogs have breach the salary cap,happilly take one of there forwards to help ease there cap issue at discounted rate effective immediately. Tolman will do !

Already lost Reynolds. Plenty of talk about Kasiano and Eastwood moving on. Highly doubtful they re-sign Lichaa. Maybe Hoppa Jnr too.

Reynolds, Lichaa & Hopoate are off-contract so losing them doesn't help shed the apparent $2m+ they need to lose for next year.
