lmao pretending that SKD wouldn't be an upgrade over Gagai in the centers.

Would have killed to have him out there today. Probably would have stopped a try or two that Gagai allowed them to score.

Why the f$&@ would anyone want to sign here after that pathetic attempt of a second half. May as well gift wrap Watson to the tigers and let Guerra renege on his deal
Everyone is entitled to be upset with losing. But In comparasion to where we were this time last year to where we are now is a massive improvement. If we improve the same amount next year as well as adding some experienced players, we will surprise a lot of people

There both shit imo. Both have very little upside.

SKD would do better than Gagai for 100%. Don't have him for a month anyway though. f**k I hope we're not paying him much.

Courier Mail is reporting Moga is a done deal and Ese'ese is very close. $1.4m over 3 years for Ese'ese apparently, $500k more than the deal Brisbane are offering.

Ese ese is a good signing. Most broncos fans don't want to see him go.

On the other hand, most broncos fans are happy to see moga go, so I hope we have got him cheap. He will be a decent depth signing and hopefully turns out to be a decent player for us.

Seems high. That said. if we weren't sniffing around he would sign at Brisbane for around 160 - 180K a season and not the 300K they've had to offer. Wayne would have felt sick with that number.

f**k it. I'll wear it just to see Brisbane lose one but I'm not happy if those figures are close.

He'd want to turn out better than the Sims and Snowden plodders.

Ese'ese is a great signing.

Moga has plenty of potential if he can have a decent run injury free. Don't worry about what Donkeys fans are saying, he is playing fine for someone who's had 2 ACLs in 3 years or whatever. If he doesn't come good for us no worries because he's cheap and we've got Pete, Ross SKD, Elliot and Sio.

This. Rather this bloke with no knees on a small contract than a bloke on 700K plus who cannot or refuses to tackle.

No brainer.

It feels really good poaching some talents from the Broncos.

Ese'ese is already better then Korbin.

Outside of ponga, ese'ese is the signing I'm most excited about. He's actually a player his club would be desperate to keep, unlike Guerra/moga/skd.

He and Dan could be 150m per game starting props (dan almost is now).

The biggest issue of him getting 465k a season is it sets the market for Dans new contract.

Sounds like Moga is 200k a season. I don't rate him but on that money you can take a punt. Ditto SKD on 300k. You've still got change from Gagai's current deal, let alone the new one.

The Moga/SKD deal feels like a 2 for 1 exchange with Gagai and is smart business from Brown imo. There's only so much value you can get out of a $600k centre so why not buy two centres for less. And to be fair I don't see how either of them could be any worse in defence than Gags is, and it's not like he's getting enough ball to justify his wage with his attack either.

Ese'ese will be a good signing, I haven't seen him play too much but he's got massive wraps on him and it sounds like we're probably paying overs at the moment but if he turns out to be as good as he could be then it'll end up being unders by the end of his deal.

The joker in the pack is Watson, if we can get him as well then I'll be pretty stoked. Our team would look a lot better with him in it. Next year we could be looking at:

1. Ponga
2. Ross
3. Pete Mat
4. Moga
5. SKD
6. Watson
7. Lamb
8. D. Saifiti
9. Levi
10. Ese'ese
11. Sione
12. Buhrer
13. Guerra

14. Barnett
15. J. Saifiti
16. J. Starling
17. Fitzgibbon/Stone/Yates

I still reckon James Graham is the plan. Just a month ago we were talking of recruiting two experienced props and that hasn't happened yet. The Dogs still seem in cap trouble.

8. Dan Saifiti
9. Levi
10. Graham
11. Sione
12. Buhrer
13. Guerra

14. Ese'ese
15. Jacob Saifiti
16. Barnett
17. Wardle/Stone

Needs two more middle forwards Mr Knightside, so I dont have to see starling or yates on the team sheet

$1.5m spent on Guerra/Ese'ese/Moga/SKD. Plenty of room left. Hopefully the cards fall our way and the rest is used on two expensive players.

Am I the only one who rates Sio? It is a lovely feeling having faith in a winger to be safe in defence or under the high ball. I don't think he's on too much coin. Scores the tries he should.

There is a logjam in our backline now(assuming Pete stays) but I would be surprised if Brown is recruiting Moga because he thought Sio was a problem.
