Am I the only one who rates Sio? It is a lovely feeling having faith in a winger to be safe in defence or under the high ball. I don't think he's on too much coin. Scores the tries he should.

There is a logjam in our backline now(assuming Pete stays) but I would be surprised if Brown is recruiting Moga because he thought Sio was a problem.

Absolutely love Sio too. he wont exactly break the line in a hit up but is such a secure winger. That high ball he took in second half with sun in his eyes was pure class

Needs two more middle forwards Mr Knightside, so I dont have to see starling or yates on the team sheet

$1.5m spent on Guerra/Ese'ese/Moga/SKD. Plenty of room left. Hopefully the cards fall our way and the rest is used on two expensive players.

I can 100% agree with you on this, I'm just not that confident that we'll get another 2 props for next year that's all so we may have to put up with another year of Josh Starling and co. until that happens.

Either way it's still a much better looking team than what we have now.

Also regarding Sio, I like him a lot and I think he's been a really astute signing but I know Brown isn't bringing SKD here to play reserve grade and I'm not sure if he wants SKD playing in the centres either which leads me to believe that he will have Moga at centre and SKD on the wing which means Sio is the odd man out unfortunately. He's a great guy to have as a backup though, him and Elliott have both been really solid and are good guys to have come into the team when the inevitable injuries occur.

If lamb can work on his Defence in the off season and halve his missed tackles per game , that combined with the loss of gagai will see our Defence improve massively.

At the moment lamb is 2nd behind gagai in our team in missed tackles.

Pete mat also is pretty high in missed tackles.

Tim Grant... there's a guy that should have been and never quite was. Raiding the Tigers bench probably not the blueprint for success, but I suppose he'll be very cheap for his level of experience.

Pretty much all our wingers and full backs are relatively safe under the high ball compared to what we had a couple of years ago.

Grant was good and promising when at Penrith, hasn't done much since and with woods leaving u would think he would stay, be needed at tigers, not sure he would add anything for us

It's hard to argue that he'd be any worse than Starling or Mataora, and has a bit more to give in an off field capacity. I think. At the right price (i.e bugger all) then Grant isn't the worst thing in the world.

Toohey is saying that Watson hasn't signed anything yet, but Knights officials reckon he'll go to tigers
