I don't like sbw as a person and after what he did to the bulldogs. I am unsure if I would want someone like that at the knights, regardless of how good he is. The difference on our team as a whole between sbw and snowden would not be hugely significant therefore making me go with snowy as my preferred option. Sbw was also very injury prone at the dogs, whether he has overcome that I do not know. If I was making my list on impact and skill I would probably but sbw on top.

all absolutely fair points... but SBW is a very rare specimen. if he were still in the game and didn't do what he did he would be a strong candidate for the first kiwi immortal. if kiwis can't be immortals, then he's a candidate to change the rules. i can understand someone elses point of view regarding his persona, it's fair enough... not for everyone. i would take it, though... and SBW is at least self-interested enough that he puts a great deal of effort into his performances. an odd, but reliable alternative to club loyalty as far as getting the results on the field goes.

i think the difference between SBW and Snowy in a team is still significant. Snowy will do more of the hard work to put his team mates in the best position to win in every game he plays. SBW will shit wins out his arse like he's been eating curry for a month - purely off his own bat.

1. SBW
2. Snowy
3. Boyd
4. Hoppa Jr
5. Bird
6. Green
7. Ennis
8. Myles

I don't like myles, he can be good but meh, don't wan't him.

I love having the resources to be competitive, but their are ways to do it without selling our soul and signing money chasing dickheads.

SBW would certainly at least consider Newie as I think Sydney's press pushed him over the edge and that is why he left the game. They deadset hassled him wherever he went. He would be idolised here and more to the point respected for the superstar athelete he is. He could be one of the greatest all round athletes in history if he takes up boxing full time. He moves beautifully in the ring, has a very strong chin and a punch that could knock a bull out. He has it all in one complete package. He deserves to make millions and millions of dollars cos he is a walking franchise.

No point arguing though the fact that he dudded the Bulldogs big time and that should never be forgotten. He should have manned up and said he wanted out and why instead of boarding a plane for Heathrow Airport. Bulldogs are better off now anyway.

Dead set perverse you need to write a book of all your analogies.

Due to the calibre of player sbw is. I would be willing to forget his past if he came here and devoted himself solely to the knights.

...and if SBW were to come here I'd want him 100% focused on the Knights & Rugby League and not other pursuits (boxing)

SBW FTW!!!!!

I think he was too young before and his body wasn't ready for the rigors of week in week out rugby league. I think he'll return a much better player for his time away from Australia/League.

My list:

1. SBW
.......
76. Snowden
77. Boyd
78. Hoppa Jr
79. Bird

You guys get the idea.

Have you seen the 'body' you are speaking about?

He was more than ready for league when he was young. His mind might not have been.

Wouldn't have him with his current management and influences. The guy has no integrity, nor does his manager.

Assume you mean 'reneging'.

Agree... wouldn't be pretty. I reckon if you tried to screw the big fella, you could end up with a real sore ar$e.

My bad, did i make a word up? Thought it meant to desert a cause or allegiance for another.

You didn't make a word up - it's a word, just the wrong one in this sense :p

I don't believe Myles is playing anywhere near to what he has displayed over the last couple of years.

His performance against the Titans was ordinary to the say the least.

Snowden is a longer term investment and would be a better priority

Completely disagree Myles is a gun, just not what we need while Snowden is.
