I can understand the headbutt and stealing the dude's watch at The Star.... Have you ever noticed there's no f**king clocks in that place?? If I'd just done my arse at the tables and needed to know the time, I'd probably headbutt the next merkin I saw with a watch too...

they do this on purpose, dim lights in the pokies section, offering you free coffee etc...

You've got to ask yourself the question why the club is putting energy into signing a player who another club tried to get cleared by the NRL only 4 months ago, but was refused.

The clubs recruitment priorities are all wrong

Pretty sure every person at the club is actively invested in making this happen.

We have scouts for a reason don't we?
If their job is to find talent and value, then that's exactly what they've been doing. The 'guy who needs a clearance thing' has worked out pretty well for messers Ma'u, Edwards and Auva'a hasn't it?
I seriously doubt they are doing it instead of trying to sign quality off contract players - can't they do both?

Matt Keating in 2009 was a better hooker than Kaysa is now and even he was ordinary and needed a supporting hooker. This is the biggest issue with BA's coaching. His rotation and choice of bench players. No chance Mannah should be starting. I'd even put Cody Nelson there to help Kaysa.

What does Mannah offer off the bench? He's our best defensive forward....

It's nothing to do with BA that his first choice hooker may never play again. And King has been injured and can't tackle. Why waste a bench spot on a nuffy back-rower like Nelson?

Lol. "We need to recruit big bodies!"

*Parramatta try to recruit the only available bug body who can play ASAP*

"No...not that one!"

Who the shit else is available to sign this season??

So, from those who see Kelepi play, what is it exactly that has seemed to have stopped his development into a regular first grader ?

Runs harder then most our props. But he is perhaps 100kgs. Small for a middle prop and doesn't seem mobile enough for the edges. He seems to have slipped down to the bench at Wenty.
I just do not see him being an edge forward at our club and last thing we need is a small prop.

Apart from the fact that he struggles to play 40 minutes his lateral movement is poor and defensively weak... On top of that I didn't see him make anymore than 2 affective carries on Sunday...

Meehan is low risk with plenty of upside, he was good enough to play first grade at 18.

If we can get back and firing he is a first grader and if he doesn't he hasn't cost us much at all.

Spot on. He was touted as the next big thing for a reason and he hasn't lost any talent, just lost his way off the field. The kid is 195cm, weighed in at a tick under 130kg at his last fight, and runs like a train.

We'll have to get him fit, maybe drop 10kg (or at least build his muscle, he's looking flabby) but for dick all money the potential reward is huge. Literally. He's an ogre of a human. At worst he's a big body who is at first grade standard.

I'd have him at Parra in a heartbeat. He's awesome. Can start at prop, or we can shift Brown back and he can start at lock.
Agreed, the guy was awesome for the Tits last year. He has plenty of skill as well as size and speed.

Agreed with both.

He has a very well rounded skill set and can ball play a little, make yardage and bends the line well.

Even throw him in the back and shift Brown like suggested, can't believe he hasn't been signed anywhere we should be chasing him.
