I think it makes a lot of sense for the Sharks' rebuild but not much sense for Souths. They already have a goalkicker and experience in the spine.

The problem is Souths have a player who thinks he's worth more than what he's currently on and Souths aren't willing to cough up but are probably willing to go pay big coin to 31 year old current origin and grand final winning spine player...

Agreed. Its great that he can play in the halves where required but lets not kid ourselves that he should automatically start there.

I was thinking that players being unhappy at being on unders and creating a fuss seems to be more prevalent of late, but maybe it's always been that way. And this might just be a failed TPA anyway, which would definitely make me want to f**k off. Clubs should do the right thing in such a case by letting the player go.
