I have heard it is north of $600k. I can't say it is true it is just what I have heard. Anyway, if true, I was truly shocked as I thought his pay would be less than $300k. And on Hayne he was worth every penny he was paid by Parra, now he is not. But that could change next year, he may have lost a bit of speed but is still a very skilful player.

Secondly, just prior to his sensational run in 2009, two things happened: he played for Fiji and was inspired by that; and Daniel Anderson put him at five-eight for a while which sharpened his skills and his focus. Well, he's currently playing five-eight for Fiji. I think it's all a perfect storm that will see Hayne play some sensational football next year.
