I kind of keep forgetting about him, but if Terepo stays fit and is in the form he STARTED in last year before getting injured, he is basically like a new prop for 18!

Players at their peak helps you be more competitive right now. You’re implying that being competitive in the future is more important.
No I'm implying that Mannah is on a downward slide. Happens to all the older players except Cam Smith and Slater apparently.

Has anyone’s career ever gone uphill from its peak?
I'll give you one, Roger Federer. Was No.1 dropped down to as low as 4 I think and now No.1 again and won 2 titles. Not bad for a thirty something player in a sport where usually at 30 you're almost on the scrap heap.

Rugby league players are still at their peak at 30. They probably start their slide somewhere around that point, but it isn’t rapid unless injury takes them down.

Nathan Davis has bulked up. Must be around 110kgs now...
Yes saw that training picture with him next to Moeroa who looks like a midget. Off to the forwards big fella! With his skill set and a year in the forwards for Wenty he could be a valuable addition to the squad in 2019. Don't think he'll make NRL unless he changes to the forwards.

Mannah is not on a downhill spiral. He is at the same level for the last 4 yrs.
Not elite but just your average up the middle pig.
If there was 5 to go and we where ahead by 2 id be happy to have Mannah on the field. Id feel safe.

See this is what I don't get. It's the Nathan Cayless effect, Player was good for a season or 2. Player is a good bloke and captain. Would not make any other NRL squads. Player stays at parra for way to long and NEVER recieves offers from other clubs. Fans still defend player even though he's captain and team are underperforming.

What are you on about?
We just finished 4th. If anything we overachieved, not underperformed.

How do you know he has ‘NEVER’ received offers? Even if you’re right, we would have got him for a steal then.

Furthermore, we were a top 4 side last year. I’d say we exceeded all expectations. We certainly didn’t underperform.

It's not about getting rid of Mannah. It's about putting him next to someone who is a bit more damaging.
Which is why we are still on the lookout for another prop, according to BA.
