On balance Api or Segeyaro would probably be my preference, probably Api in the lead as Segs has had his behavioural issues. But either would be nice, really.

But if we purchase a younger hooker then iv no doubt we could loose one or both.
Im not saying either will play Nrl but both definitely are showing promise. That's the risk you take

I think you need to worry about first grade first, honestly. Having great juniors is fantastic, but there is no guarantee they will ever be ready. Look at Anthony Mitchell...Schnieder is 17, I don't think we can worry about him at the moment. And given Mahoney is only 19 himself I don't think we can turn down a quality younger hooker in case he kicks on, either.

We require 1 centre
We require Semi back

We only need a winger and another attacking middle forward, unless Evans comes good. A better hooker would be nice but Pritchard and King can do the job.

No one good was available for a decent price.

Peats wanted 600k plus, Rein wanted 3-400k. They were the best available (and I'd have honestly paid 600k for Peats given were we sit) but Rein is a plodder and not many sides splash 600k on a hooker.

Look at Canberra, they lost Hodgson and the only first grade level replacement available was Havili, who can't decide if he's a hooker or a lock or a back rower....

We need a hooker, but we don't need to just grab whatever rubbish is available.
