Probably wouldn't have signed Mennings either if we knew we wouldn't have a bunch of TPAs like we thought we did when he signed.

He'd be a good signing for a club with loads of TPAs. Clubs like Parra need to be more careful with whom we throw big money at. We can probably only afford two or three blokes on more than $500k. Silly to waste it on some merkin who might only touch the ball half a dozen times.

That old chestnut..... NOT TPAS FOREVER.

Bullshit we would have plenty once the new stadium. If we dont then somethings wrong

Why would the new stadium make any difference? TPA providers aren't sponsors. Teams looking for a sponsorship want to sponsor teams not players.

Indians play cricket because they're no good at real sports. It's why kids from the Caribbean nations don't play cricket any more. It's all soccer and basketball these days.

It's true.
They aren't the most athletic people in the world.
Even their top sportsmen, the cricket team, look unco chasing a ball down in the field.

Their fielding is a shit load better than ours in recent years, tbh.

India has taken a while to catch up with the whole 'professional athlete' idea.

To be fair, I haven't watched a lot of cricket in recent years. If they've caught up by now then perhaps we may see an NRL player of Indian descent....in 30 years.

“Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are disappointed to lose the services of back-rower Shaun Lane at the end of this season.

Shaun has made the decision to leave the Club to take up an opportunity elsewhere.

The Club believes it made a more than competitive offer for Shaun's services for the next three years.

Shaun came to the Club in 2017 looking to resurrect his NRL career after playing in the NSW Cup competition for the New Zealand Warriors. He has since secured a regular position in the starting team with the Sea Eagles.”
