The fact that Glenn is advocating signing a guy like that over Ferguson just demonstrates his utter cluelessness. Maumalo over Ferguson fmd
They're playing in different positions, Ferguson signed as centre from my sources and as stated above. Learn to read and lets see what the future brings. Roosters rarely let a good player go.

We had a chance to sign him 2-3 years ago when became free agent but sat on our hands. What's changed in the meantime?

um Nathan Peats maybe? ...

around the same time we also got the likes of Foran, Jennings and Scott when life was rosey.

However if Ferguson is played as a winger there are better options around. There is a young winger in Maumalo with Warriors that we could get for less than half the price who'll do just as good a job and is more diamonds than rocks.

Just quoting for the slow...ie the guy who posted it and then claimed he wasn't comparing Ferguson and Maumalo because they are "playing different positions" according to "sources"

Learn to read....lol

Don’t think he is cooked, he is still doing some decent stuff (and classy stuff only someone like he could do), but it’s all mixed in with some pretty crappy shit moments.

I reckon it’s an attitude thing, he just isn’t putting 100% effort in at times!!

Obviously not an excuse for a professional player but wonder if something is affecting him away from footy.

Hopefully some time in NSW cup is the wake up call he needs!!
the beard is sucking all the good stuff out of him

I like my source better:

“He’s one of the elite outside backs in the game on current form, a big body out of the back field who carries the ball strong,””

““He gets you on the front foot early and obviously he’s got that finishing ability. We’ve missed ‘Bulla’ [Radradra] plenty of times this year and it will help take the pressure off there.”

His name is Brad Arthur and he is talking up his ability as a winger!!

Corey Oates - quotes this time that he wants to go back to the back row.

Asked if he would consider linking with an NRL club that offered him a back-row start, Oates said: “You always do (consider it) but you have to look at a lot of other things too, it’s not just one thing I look at signing for a club.

“(But) I feel playing back-row brings more out of me than the wing.”

Could = maybe, perhaps
Will = definite statement
You with the nuances of the English language yet? Always difficult for those from overseas where not first language.
OK, I'll go at the rest of your statement. You said we could get Ken for less than half the price of Fergo. But you have been banging on about how now that we have had a poor year we will need to pay overs for any decent player. This one would need to move countries ffs. Which is it @Glenneel? I will eagerly await your reply tomorrow.

Parra spoke to him but there was the issue of him abandoning his English contract and the super league club not issuing him a release until much compensation was paid which Segeyaro expected Parra to pay. In the end he paid it himself and went to the sharks as everyone else had lost interest in him
