My point was that it might not have been 1/2/3 tries apiece without so many stupid errors. We could have won those games easily. I feel sorry for BA. We have been in so many games this season, and thrown them away.

I actually think we will get more out of running last. At the least it will reinforce to the club that we need real improvement in the playing squad.

I don’t think there’s any benefit to finishing last. Some players might take positives out of it but on the whole I’d say there’d be more detriment across the board finishing last instead of 15th opposed to the “benefits” of finishing last

Our biggest issue is that some of these players you talk about shouldn't be here and the club needs to wake up and realise this.

Something has got to give...if we keep doing the same thing next year, you can't expect results to change.

Our biggest issue is that some of these players you talk about shouldn't be here and the club needs to wake up and realise this.

Something has got to give...if we keep doing the same thing next year, you can't expect results to change.

You can’t just magically wish them away though, plus I think a large portion of the players you want to keep would also be negatively affected by finishing last, so we have to play the course with the greater benefit going forward.
I believe that a lot of this years debacle is from “overachieving” last year and fighting adversity the year before. Most of our players haven’t had to deal with that intensity year after year and it’s obvious that mentally/emotionally come this years preseason they weren’t prepared for that toll and thus underprepared physically. Heck I’d lump BA in with those players too. Evidently those players can achieve that standard, hopefully this season reiterates the work ethic required, and nothing helps enforce that more than jagging some wins through hard work. Because we’ve shown all season we’re very unlikely to win a game by luck over next 5 games

Mental strength appears in different circumstances for different people. If you fill the squad with players who are only mentally strong when faced with losing, then you’ll be losing every other season
