You do it quickly, not let it drag on all season. Mbye to to the Tigers was done well. Even Cartwight to the Gold Coast was handled well. Moses to us was handled shit by the Tigers
The only reason it would drag on is if you're not being offered enough. And if that's the case you don't let him go.

Not in the top 8 teams. We have very few quality large forwards. Which top 8 team has as small a pack as ours? More to the point, who are the larger forwards in our team that are playing well each week.

Each top 8 team has at least 2-3 giants in their pack or even backs, that is a genuine NRL standard player, if not representative. We have sweet f**k all that has played well all season hence why I said, they are busted midgets.

But you just keep looking back over your shoulder to last year. I'm sure it helps you sleep like a baby at night.
Well the difference this year isn’t the form of our forwards. Have a look who’s playing worse than last year.

If you read the discussion it was in response to a poster saying Norman is half responsible for us not scoring points. The evidence shows that Norman does plenty more than anyone else in our team towards scoring points.

In fact his stats are comparable with one of the top halves of the comp - and no one would suggest Munster is failing at helping his side score points
How are Munster’s LBAs compared to Norman’s?

@Happy MEel posted all those stats the other week. It showed that Norman touches the ball more but his attacking stats were still much better as a percentage when compared with Moses' touches. He also pointed out that our number 7 (on roughly $750,000) hasn't produced a line break or LBA since round 10. We are now up to round 21. Not only that, Moses touches the ball less than Norman but has a higher number of errors. The guy is a dead set passenger
Moses is having his worst ever season but that doesn’t mean we should sack him.

I reckon Marata has showed a lot of improvement from his first 3 games to now. He is not a Kikau but he is powerfull and has thrust. It takes forwards atleast 20 games till get up to speed. By mid next year he will be a huge improvement to what he currently is. And currently he is already matching it with our starters.

Tepai is showing glimpses. I reckon all it will take is one break out game and he will be away. There isnt thast much diffenrent in level between him and say De bellin who is an origin player. Just consistency.
Funny thing is Marata and Tepai are same age. Tepai was bought into NRL 1-2yrs early.
Kikau wasnt NRL level at 22. He is now 23 and look at his development from 12mths ago. One of the most distructive forwards in the comp.
JFH is another. Same age as Tepai he only breaking out now. Imagine how him and Kikau would of went as 18/19ylds.

Tepai is coming along nicely, imo.

Easily one of our best defenders, alongside Alvaro - and his attack is improving.

Yes, that's my point. If everyone is nearly the same, then there are other more important factors that impact a teams success or lack of.
Yes, there probably is more important reasons but it doesn't mean this isn't one of the reasons. Last year when we moved to playing tunnel ball I think that was one of the reasons for our success. And the speed of the play the ball is something many of us have been complaining about for the last decade.
