Rumours and Stuff

Why are some attached to our coach? He’s here to do a job, and I dare say gets paid handsomely to do so. But he’s failed miserably yet people still want to defend him.

He’s proved he’s too one dimensional in his tactics, his recruitment leaves a lot to be desired for and some of his team selections and substitution are concerning.

Maybe they're smart enough to realise that simple solutions to complex problems sometimes do more damage than good? It really comes down to what your alternatives are. If you bring in another mid-ranking coach, do we give them 3 years to rebuild (and still have to deal with the fact that it is harder for us to secure TPAs than it is for clubs who weren't caught cheating on them)? You run the risk of starting the old cycle again. At what point that is still the best option.....we'll never know.

Exactly. It’s not as simple as sacking the coach.

We need to fix the front of house as a priority. Otherwise, we’ll bring another coach in who will also fail.

Surely several ‘failed’ coaches since BS would have made that really obvious to people.

Attack coach and head of football hellping with recruits.

Lane and T rex in 2nd row
Tepai unless starts busting tackles to prop.
Manu bench or T rex.
That would work. Add Fergo and Jnr along with another powerfull winger and back to top 8

Didn't I hear a little while ago that T-Rex will not be re-signed or actually maybe even retiring?

If anyone has watched the finals games what you see is teams taking some risks and attacking on more then 50% of sets. Never giving the defense time to rest.
It is exciting footy.
You're an idiot Hindy. How is that be better for attack and to watch than BAs five one out hitups and then the bomb?

That's better than this year, but with both Norman and Moses in our halves in 2019, we will not do much, tbh.

That wasn’t the point of discussion! Just pointing out we were fairly competitive against the top 8 sides (and I am not saying we had a good year, it was shit terrible!!).
But aren't we supposed to beat these top 8 sides occasionally, rather than just being competitive?
