I have a hunch we are a big show for Jordan McLean.

He and Vave would be a pretty good dynamic and would fit what we need too.

The NRL caught the other 15 clubs cheating, and they were stripped of points, too?

We've signed Archie, Rowdy and the other Hindmarsh kid to lifetime deals?

I'm going crazy with speculative energy here!

Yeah I'd say a bex and good lie down might be in order mate lol

If the Storm can get him there is no reason we can't, but if we nab Brown and Vave I'm more than happy with our front row stocks. Just need a dummy half, halfback and a yong back up winger/centre looking for a chance.

I'd be looking at;

Halfback-Cameron Cullen, or Ata Hingano. Not much else out there (presuming Green goes to Manly), we may as well see what Cornish has to offer for a season with Dargan the understudy. Wouldn't be upset with Benji on a one year deal, but nothing more than that and I would prefer one of the younger kids.

Hooker-Adam Clydesdale, Josh Chudleigh, Jayden Hodges, Grant Garvey. Again, there isn't a lot out there. Mitch Rein is the "biggest" name hooker off contract, but he is absolutely awful IMO and has a ridiculously high opinion of himself so definitely won't be cheap. Those four are young, talented, not going to cost the earth, have FG experience and will be keen to prove themselves.

Prop-Obviously Nathan Brown, NAS, Jordan MacLean, Paul Vaughn (if he wants to move). But there are a couple of younger kids I'd love for us to sign. Andy Saunders from Penrith is a real young gun. Herman Ese'ese, Francis Molo, Abraham Papalii all absolute giant young kids. Zane Musgrove is off contract too.

Three-Quarters-I'd love us to have a crack at Zak Hardaker, personally. I rate him really highly and Penrith sure don't seem to. Can play 1-6, is a goal kicker, Test rep and despite all of that I think he'd come at a reasonable-ish price if he wants to prove himself. Otherwise the talented young kids looking for a go...Jonus Pearson, Marion Seve, Nathan Davis (also a goal kicker), Corey Denniss, Tom Hughes, Jahrome Hughes, Tautau Moga, George Jennings, Robert Jennings, Hymel Hunt, Tautalatasi Tasi (although he's more a centre/backrower)....

There's plenty of props and backs worth taking a chance on so I don't see us going without if we make some offers...hooker and halves are the issue.

On Nelson Asofa-Solomona, I mentioned that I thought that he was over rated at this point of his career and was met with howls from some of you talent scout dumbos.

I seem to be right so far since he was relegated to the lower grades. Sure he may eventually shine and rise to fulfill his potential, but I have been proven right that at this point of his development he has achieve very little for all the fan fare. Kind of like our very own Tepai, the only difference Bellamy has less patience then Arthur it would seem.

Or he's missed 6 weeks with a knee injury....that might be it too

Bears site lists him as 177cm, 77kg...plays fullback or halfback....sounds like another Adam Quinlan, probably not featuring too heavily in FG plans

Ram your hard on teps.
The best is to come, he is the same age as the viscous fish who is one of the best young prospects in the game along with teps. Teps prob shouldnt of played first grade till this year. Be patient. Look at guys like zeb taia ffs.

Fair enough, but he isn't of 1st grade standard at the moment and that is what I am judging him by. Even Beven French, who has certainly got major weaknesses in his game has shown much more promise then Tepai.

My bad I thought I heard that he was playing lower grades. That will learn me to not check first. Oh well my interest in League has waned somewhat due to the way the game is governed and our own clubs incompetence this year. I haven't been watching games anywhere near as much as I used to.

On that I think the game is an absolute joke from the top down. There are that many little things that they constantly get wrong that I'm definitely over hoping that one day the NRL will finally get right.

As for Greenbergs leadership and I'm not referring to his handling of Parra's salary cap issues, but overall NRL guidance, has been beyond joke level.

League is the biggest joke of any major professional sport I know of that is so popular with the public. It only survives due to it's own brilliance.

He came back two weeks ago, Bellamy thought he was underdone, gave him a week in reggies (and their pack was monstered in FG) and he's back tonight.

Great news! The daily telegraph is reporting that the great Jeff Robson is extending another year. Specialist halfback found!

I don't mind Robson staying if true. He offers as much as Benji at a fraction of the price, he doesn't mind playing NSW Cup, he's a consummate professional who can teach young halves a bunch, whether that's just the guys at the club already in Dargan, Doolan, maybe Cornish or whether we sign a Cullen or a Hingano or even Hastings...

I certainly wouldn't want him to be first choice for the whole year, but given the dearth of quality halves on the market we could do a lot worse.
