I'm a fan. A good player and seems like an even better bloke.I don't know if you're kidding or not, but I love Timmy - he's never let us down!
I'm pretty sure he's part cyborg, tbh...

I agree they didn't play well. I just disagree they were unable to compete physically.
Even last year when we were smaller but fitter, our problem wasn't that we were outmuscled. It was that we lacked teamwork, which led to consistently losing the possession battle. That made it look like we were outmuscled/unfit/whatever.

I wouldn't blame being 'out-muscled' until the team had equal possession.Or we were out muscled.

Haha! Isn't that the point of out-muscling a team? More metres gained with quick play the balls and dominating possession through intimidation is out-muscling a team IMO.I wouldn't blame being 'out-muscled' until the team had equal possession.

Dominance (out-muscling) usually comes from possession and vice versa. Usually, when an ill-disciplined team gets worn down without the ball they start to do risky plays. Not when the dominance of possession comes first...

Supposedly 188cm and 114kg
That's not the official site though, who for some reason haven't got his height and weight
Big kid for 19. Stefano is 191cm and 115kg officially, and not even 19 yet
Last week we completed at 50% in the first half, resulting in a mere 38% of possession
Do you not agree that making 7 errors means that you defend more? Do you also, then, not agree that defence is more tiring than attack, and thus saps your energy faster? And then, do you also not agree that a side that has twice the possession and completes 25% more of their sets is likely to be far less fatigued than the side that completes 7 sets and has to defend 23?
We weren't "out-muscled" at all, we negated the need for anyone to out-muscle us by giving them all the fking ball
Has salmon done anything to suggest he’s guaranteed a first grade spot?
Lol. They played the clever game and as a team they out-muscled us with their team tactics over 80 minutes. They dominated us with repeat kicks in-goal, enthusiasm built on possession and discipline. By doing these basics better than us allowed them to run harder, faster play the balls and gain critical field position. They out-muscled us through brains rather than brawn.Last week we completed at 50% in the first half, resulting in a mere 38% of possession

You can suggest all you want, mate. My definition of being out-muscled is one of dominating another team through possession, discipline and smart plays that contribute to further possession, thus wearing down a tiring opposition resulting in dominance. The only muscle I want to know about over Easter is one that's served to me on a plate. And, I haven't admitted to anything there, Pou.But the original comment (not yours) was that our pack was "out-muscled" by a smaller pack.
Which you've just admitted didn't happen.
I'd also suggest that your use of out-muscled is ridiculous in the chosen context. They played smarter, more controlled football than us. Nothing to do with muscle
Whether you think we were out muscled or not is irrelevant, but isn’t everything else you mentioned the tactics of the game? They controlled the game well and belted us into submission. We couldn’t match them and there’s a reason why they’re leading the comp.
