Yeh, this is the club is so badly run that it lost out narrowly to the eventual premiers in 2021. The wooden spoon winning coach and his team have made the semis every year since. Since that season we've won 52 games and lost 28. The worst attacking coach in the comp is the attacking coach of the 3rd ranked attacking team in the 2022 season. Does that suit the narrative? I'd honestly be more concerned wtih our defense at the moment. Our recruitment over the last couple of years has been as good as any club's. In what sense was the CEO appointed through the 'back door'? Do you mean that he was simply an internal candidate? Who the f**k cares whether the CEO is in your face? What is it exactly that you want the CEO to do to demonstrate that he deserves a gig?
But answer me this....it is clearly in the self-interest of management to be associated with a premiership winning team. Why then do you think that they don't care if they win a premiership? Are they stupid?
How do you think our last attempt to get directly involved in TPAs played out? Since then the total value of registered TPAs across all clubs has halved, and the private sector proportion of that is fallen by two-thirds. (

So, if the management are saying 'we don't want to breach the NRL rules by organising TPAs'....well what else would they say?
