Here's a tip, they don't want to experience different cultures, they just want to look at them.
sure, i just expanded on it. but it goes both ways. you can't set up a process that paints people into a corner, especially without consultation. maybe they need to highlight public issues a better way where everyone feels comfortable, which wouldve been the outcome if they spoke to the players weeks before. but anyhow its manly so f**k them
they promote it before the games where each player shows their shoe and talks about what it means to them. they probably then flog it off for more charity dollars after the game. but everyone gets onboard because they can relate to it and it makes them feel like they are making a difference.
Whilst i agree with religion giving hope. "Religion" and the catholic church could also end world poverty within a matter of months if they wanted to. But doing so would harm them, as the less people praying and giving the very little they have in the name of "hope" the less tax-free cars and houses their top brass are afforded.
No they couldn't. Money is an abstract concept that represents the goods and services that can be purchased with it. But the exchange rate isn't fixed. Most of the obscene figures that do exist only exist because of concentration. Basically, if the Catholic church distributed all their wealth in an equal manner most of it would essentially cease to exist. There would be no material effect on poverty.
i wouldn't mind seeing some pride put back in the jersey this week with a strong performance.
Maybe if Penrith came out with a pride jersey we'd have some hope this weekend.
