f**k them!! Bunch of hypocrites!!

happy to take their contract money, which sports betting and alcohol companies contribute too …..and have team mates who act against their beliefs…..

but then have a sook because of their rainbow themed pride jumpers!

Additionally they have no sense of history of their club and the shit one of their greatest Roberts had to go through……

Just some things that are banned in the Bible and can send you to Hell.

Short Hair cuts.
Fortune Telling(your horoscope or tarrot cards).
The pulling out method(masturbating) wasting your seed.
Tattoos.
Mixed fabric blends(Polyester).
Divorce.
Men who have lost their testicles.
People with flat eyes...yes no joke, there goes all of Asia. Burning in Hell those guys.
Bastards. Oh even his or her descendants up to 10 generations are forbidden to entre the Lords Temple.
Wearing gold, pearls(jewelry) or expensive fabric clothes or braided hair(fancy hair styles).
Shellfish(Anything that comes from the sea or rivers that have no scales or fins like prawns or oysters).
Pigs, rabbits even snails(actually there is a whole slue of animals your aren't allowed to eat, but most we wouldn't eat today).

Things that the bible allows but are illegal today.

Bigamy
Rape
Having sex with your children
Stoning people
Slavery
Genocide

If these Manly players are protesting on religious grounds then in my opinion they would be the biggest and dumbest hypocrites and are to stupid to even realise it. Or they simply haven't even read their own bible enough if at all and are just cluelessly cherry picking. But more likely it is more a case of monkey see, monkey do type of stuff as with most who are raised religious.

If they are protesting on cultural grounds, well all cultures at one point or another were very toxic and insane by our modern standards even if they had some worthy elements to them just like most mainstream religions do.

If they are protesting on their personal views and just don't like gay people, then they are who they are and in my opinion wouldn't be much of a human being to be around no matter how shy and or nice they come across in public.

However I don't like sport getting into politics at all. Sure I support this message and love seeing minorities(in this case gay inclusiveness) be promoted, but what if we were supporting climate change or some other issue I don't support? Then it would turn me off and may even turn me off the sport I love altogether. Look at what taking the knee has done to the NFL in America. So sure there are great causes but keep them away from our sports or you risk alienating a lot of people.

Bottom line. Live and let live, but sport is just sport and we don't want politics stinking it up.

Exact same as people calling people BA apologists simply because they provide a different argument/perspective to that of the masses.
"WhY dO 43% oF mErKiNs StIlL wAnT hIm As CoAcH fFs?!?!" Why do you f**king care merkin? There's obviously good reasons to keep him on. If it was as cut-and-dried as you think it is he wouldn't still be at the club.

As Manly have said, it’s about inclusivity. It’s actually Disability Pride month as well. So while the media have pigeon holed this as gay pride, it’s further reaching than that it would seem.

Well done to the Manly board for mine. It’s forward thinking. They knew they’d likely get some players bucking up about it and with their season on the line are pushing ahead. A tough decision but they nailed it.
