Well JA wasn’t in the top 17 for some of worse losses this year:
tigers
Dogs
Roosters
South’s first game
Cant say that mate. Doesn't fit the narrative.

Hi Nanna!Cant say that mate. Doesn't fit the narrative.
why dont you .Your junior league area is as big as ours.maybe it’s time to ask why your juniors have gone or are not thereIt's probably an easier decision to let them walk when you've got a relative production line of players ready to take their place. We don't have that luxury I'm afraid so we might have to go the extra mile to keep the ones we need to...
I posted a few days ago that there’s quite a few middles that make more runs than Paulo and RCG. Matterson is one of them. Tapine is another.2 cowboys starting middles cotter played 82 mins and JT 83 mins…
even looking at the raiders, their edge forwards played 80 mins and starting props 66 and 58 mins…..

The club would have more money if you bought food and drink at the ground instead of 20 cheese burgers at Macdonalds on the way to the ground lolNo no. We are a tiny club. Very small. We have hardly any money (basicalt broke) , no tpas and a very small junior base.
We are over achieving. It's really a credit to this fine organisation.
Well, no. Different squad, one game. Means five eighths of f**k all.It proves that he is not Robinson Crusoe with his bench contingency strategy.
Good point. Imagine how much worse our F/A would be if he'd played in those.Well JA wasn’t in the top 17 for some of worse losses this year:

That argument applies equally to the ladder position.Of course we’ll never know how this same squad with the same draw would have performed under another coach - that’s why it’s a moot point to even discuss it.
As for F+A being a better indicator than actual points, I’d agree if every team played each other twice, home and away, but they don’t so that always means some clubs will have theoretical easier draws than others. Where games happen to fall against teams with high rep players who are in camp and omitted also skews F+A.
You leave him alone, he's got reverse insomnia! The club would have more money if you bought food and drink at the ground instead of 20 cheese burgers at Macdonalds on the way to the ground lol
Seventh reflects the quality of the team. Finishing higher on the ladder could just be luck. Or maybe it’s to do with the coach? We finished fourth but the points differential is only seventh best, and that's the better indicator. How we would have gone with different choices we'll never know.
There are more NRL clubs within driving distance of our junior league area.W

You can take it with a grain of salt. However, the person I heard it from would know (at least from Nrown’s perspective). I guess you’d say that’s Unsourced then.So you mean Nrown got allaned cos he said JA was shit? ..... is this real or unsourced?
i was always a Nrown fan, never got into the handbrake shananigans, and was pretty disappointed when he seemed to get shafted ... would be interested to know why
Haha nah we’re the biggest club in the game. Look at all the premierships we won before Brad Arthur joined the club ffsYou have no idea how small a club we are.
Ask Pou. We are tiny.
Last night was an odd one. I was hit with reverse insomnia and then insomnia. So fell asleep at 8.30 and woke at 2am.
Very bizarre
These indeed are the questions. On the face of it, we should be in a similar situation to your mob but junior development and retention seems to have been broken for a while now and it's only recently been addressed. Will take a few years to see if things are on the up and whether Nathan Brown's appointment bears fruit eventually...W

It's a different game the finals.I’d understand the blow up if all of a sudden we had changed our bench strategy now in the finals, but BA has used his bench the same way the whole season and it’s got us to 4th. I don’t think we’re going to change the way we’ve played for 6 months when the system has shown to generally be successful.
our bench rotation system didn’t cost us the game last week.
id rather have Carty or Brown there too, but that’s not how we’ve played in months.
BA said in the captains run presser that Jake will be there, but he may not be called upon. He’s also previously said our game is built upon big mins from Paulo & RCG as they are on big $$ so that’s the expectation.
We don’t know if it’s been addressed. In 2017 we won SG Ball and lost the NYC grand final. Four players from that team are in our current squad, but three are gone next year. The problem though is that the quality of our juniors has declined since then. We know we have become more financially responsible since 2017. I doubt it’s a coincidence. These indeed are the questions.
