Just trying to understand the analogy:
You love basmati rice and the street foods of Goa - not the cleanest at times, but hearty and those Indians are trying to give you a good meal. You think a hatted chef with their fancy presentation is all show and no go.
Therefore, you love players with grit (which you might find in the food), who are wholesome and try hard
You don't like showy players who are all about the presentation.
I think that was a fair effort on my part.
