Warriors system is broken anyone could look poor.

I have seen enough glimpses in Murchie to suggest he will be a good signing outside Moses.
Thanks cos I confess that I had no idea who he is. If someone asked if Jack Murchie AFL, WSL, NBL or NRL I would struggle to even guess it.

South coast junior, who played with Canberra

Was a highly rated junior (Australia junior rep etc), but didn’t really “kill it” when he debuted at the raiders. Then went to the Warriors.

Looks to be one of those players who just needed time/experience to develop.

Is 25 and has played 40 or so NRL games….Could end up a fringe nrl player or really kick on, over next few years..

Decent size… 193 cm 105kg

I remember in years in the past when we had lots of injuries, it was considered a problem at our club .... we dont train right or something so merkins get 8njured .... the roosters must have hired an AFL guy cos they have had a few bad years now
There’s always a reason for bad luck, and that reason is whatever I’ve been banging on about. I f**ken told you so!!!!

I didn't expect Roosters and Storm to cop so many injuries.
But they have had bad luck.

In 14hrs one of us will be $100 richer

The Roosters are horrible with Injuries Sam Walker has now played with a shoulder injury and an arm injury...

They seem to cop multiple head injuries. Which I would say is bad luch but there has to be some science to it... The way they train or tackle.

Just a question for all the apologists on this site: In your normal life, where people know your actual name and can see you, have you ever told anyone how good JA is or that you think he should be picked in the team?

I only ask because I live and work in the Parramatta area and am heavily involved in junior football and in all my conversations with people about football there has been no one who thinks JA is a first grader or deserves to be picked in the team. It seems a universal view in real life and it seems to be that people only defend JA's selection on the internet.

So I was curious if the likes of Pou, Gronk, JokerEel, Twizzle, Strider or Cloeel actually defend JA's selection or status as a first grader in real life?

Well you probably speak to like minded people...

I tell people JA has potential like all 19 year olds who play in the NRL I don't think he should be a bench player.

I don't wet the bed when I see him picked like yourself. I get on with life and hope he has a good game.
I dont blame him for a loss as there are 16 other players in the team, why do you blame him for a loss?

Definitely do defend JA…..

And interestingly the few, who want Cartwright picked instead of JA, were the ones bagging BA / eels for signing him ….

Thank you for answering so honestly - curious that you yourself don't publicly advocate for his selection in first grade.

I dont blame JA for a loss, I blame his father for jeopardising the team's chances by picking a kid who is clearly and unquestionably not ready for first grade - and, it seems, alienating parts of the squad.

I have spoken to a few people, and said that in my opinion, he is not ready for First Grade - but if we have injuries, or suspensions, in the halves, I'm fine with him being chosen, as he is our only backup half.

Having said that, putting ourselves in a position where a talented - but raw - 19-year old is your only backup half, is quite dangerous.

I've said to many people that I can see glimpses of quality in Jakob - he's a solid front-on defender, has a good kicking game, and can read the game well.

His biggest flaws would be his movement speed, and that he is not ready to read a game at First Grade speed yet.

I have also said to many people that unless our other halves are not available, I don't think he should be in the team.
