Well they preferred him in round one just like they preferred Simonsson. Opacic wasn’t especially good in 2021. By round 20 they preferred Opacic to Simonsson. At his best Blake is a difference maker, unlike the other two, and players can find form in any given game. That’s why Blake kept getting picked. Meanwhile Opacic is off to the UK.
He’s not that bad. He wasn’t the first and won’t be the last to get the yips under those wobbly high balls.

I'm sure Penrith feel the same way lol, he's won 1 game for us in his time here but cost us countless of others. His most memorable game was the first Semi final against Penrith where he singlehandedly gave them that game with about 8 errors. For a bloke who has played as much grade as him he shouldn't be as clueless as he is.
So you agree the club did select Blake in the centres ahead of Opacic in Round 1... contrary to what you waffled about in your first reply disputing that?
I thought Simonsson made a good fist at centre, he might be worth keeping around at the right price because he's hardly costing us the world. Unlike Blake and Sivo.
I don’t know why you’re so hung up over round one. In our first game this year Simonsson played wIng with Blake at centre. By the grand final they had swapped. Things change.
