If Simmonson is a better centre than winger (which I think he clearly is), is he a better winger than Russell at this stage?

If yes, Tracey if we get him, pushes Superman to the wing and plays centre.

I think it all depends on what our forward makeup is at the time.

If it is as I just posted above and at full strength, then we can definitely afford to have Tracey in the centres with either Russel or Simonson on the wing, with either Russel or Simonson taking the hit ups when necessary. Tracey obviously isn't the type to take effective hitups, but with his speed and ability to step at speed, will at times find broken defensive lines when we receive the ball in our quarter from knock ons or dropped balls and put us back on the offensive again fast.

He would have great impact playing behind our full strength pack, which is way better then what the Sharks currently have. I like this potential signing from an attacking perspective. If our forwards are weak or missing, then he would become a liability fairly quickly.

The yin and the yang. He is not a complete player, but a good one in a good team.
