Wasn't Latu Fainu the kid that has all the raps as the next up and coming gun in the juniors.

Parra try to stop playing Harold Matts GF a few years back as he was supposed to be suspended.

Seibold and the club might be trying get rid of the Rainbow rejects and the influence at the club.

Im hopeful you are about to see the much maligned crack Wests Tigers recruitment team in action....stay tuned.

I

I agree
Hodgson had his player option and our club would be dunces if they didn’t have that $ in its plan for balancing the cost of the squad. No chance this costs us cartright or emu. They may well sign elsewhere ( i hope they don’t) but Hodgson taking up his player option won’t make any difference
There is no chance any of us would have thought that extending Cartwright and Greig was a priority a year ago. They both have come good and Hodgson not taking up his option would have helped retain them. Now I think at least one of them will leave.

Are you f**king shitting me? Hodgson would be on at least $400k. Maybe we were waiting for the oxygen thief not to take his option so then we could use that money to top up whatever Cartwright and Greig are on.

Let’s say Carty is on $250k now and Greig is on $180k. Give them $450k and $380k respectively with the saving from Hodgson. You reckon they’d stay?

f**k me it’s not rocket science.
But you have to have a player in the top 30 on at least min wage so doesn’t free up $400k, maybe $270k .

I would hold on to Greig if I had to make a choice.

He had a player option … in what reality would the club be expecting he wouldnt take up an option to earn a couple hundred grand. I can’t believe that would cost us any player

cartright or Greig may go but I don’t reckon Hodgsons call will have any impact and also they are both playing really good footy surely there’s something about our system that’s helped them find their best form.

Exactly and last year, what we budgeted for them was probably less. We probably didn't think about keeping emu or only a small upgrade. However,he's form suggests now he's a solid bench player.

We signed Murchie, doorie, jirrah thinking that they will kick on with ba's magic and probably didn't budget much for carty as we also didn't expect his form to be that good. But then we signed davey to use up more $$

So the money we gave hodgo could've been used better

It’s not like they’ve been playing high quality for a long period. They have been in good form recently and you’d have to say they have all found their best form in our system …. Wouldn’t you want to stay in that system ?!
Depends on the $$ difference

Also don't forget there's player managers who will be in their ear to get more money
