Someone said they had never seen Dunster have a big game. I pointed out that he had. And while he might never be able to get back to that level, he still has NRL experience and is only a backup. How good does a backup player need to be? There is always going to be something deficient in your backups or they would be starting somewhere else. So the choice for backup wingers is generally safe-but-low-impact (e.g. Dunster) or explosive-but-high-risk (e.g. Blake/Lumelume). That’s how backups work. The Storm have had plenty of shit backups over the years, including our own Lumelume. You take the good with the bad, but if you win the middle you should get more of the former than the latter.
