it took an injury to replace matagi But why didn't he replace him with hands
After 5-10 mins with Tuilagi struggling at centre why didn't BA swap him with Hands who would have done a better job imo? He is better tackler and faster than Tuilagi. Another poor decision by BA to leave him out there with Penrith shifting the ball to their right because of our obvious weakness there.

And I agree - we won't be getting any better under BA. This is as good as he gets.
That’s a crock of shit really.

if they were breaking our line at will and our defence was so abysmal we’d have lost by 30 plus.

our scramble and slide defence for the vast majority was good. They got one try off a complete BS ref call, then it’s a 2 point game. Add Luai should have been binned and we’d have had a larger lead at half time

Despite being 3x premiers and us being down a winger and having every call go against us, they were at most 5% better then us

there was zero that was abysmal about our effort or attitude last night

He’s one injury away from being useless though

Gutho has missed 2 games in 4 seasons now

Don't believe that, he has been absolutely smashed by injury but has the mental strength to come back and be just as good.

I don't want to get rid of Gutho btw move him to centre where he can continue to lead.

At least the media might be nicer to us 😂

I didn't question our attitude, or effort.

Did you forget the tries that Penrith butchered?

It doesn't take away from the fact that we are a class below them.

And why are you so aggressive? The hell is wrong with you?

Is this not a forum where people can discuss matters?

Or do people expressing their opinions somehow upset you?

The game changed dramatically when Simmonson was forced off by foul play. All the Riff did was target an edge player or the replacement centre and obviously a centre playing wing, they didn’t do anything up the middle and despite that issue we were leading at half time. Not sure we were a class below the, they played at full strength and we were forced to replace a player who in essence was replacing a first choice player.

Think the team deserves a lot of credit for staying in the game, then again thats just an opinion as is yours, which I don’t entirely agree with.

Nothings changed other than giving more contract time to our hapless coach.
Of course let’s hire Bennett, oh his team got flogged
No, let’s get Hasler, oops same story
Then let’s get Webster, ummm he lost after leading 10-0
What about Robbo, he would need to bring a sombrero with him
Ciraldo the wonder asst-coach, really?
Sticky then! Oops been there , didn’t work

Unfortunate reality is that there's not a lot out there and no one that much better.

If you are interpreting aggression from plain text, that’s in your own head and more a of a reflection of your own feelings.

Oh, yeah.

"That's a crock of shit," is passive language, for sure.

Seeing as we are now casting aspersions on one another's characters, rather than taking onboard what is said to you about how you talk to people, I guess it's just easier to gaslight, and bury your head on the sand.

I don't agree.

While they did [intelligently] target our left edge, their middles made 45 metres per set with ease, and got quick play-the-balls.

I think we were valiant, and the attitude, and effort, was great, but Penrith showed why they are a cut above.

I was talking to a ref in the NRL. He rates Josh Hannay highly and saw a remarkable turnaround in player attitude when he took over from John Morris at the Sharks. He also told me that our latest target, Lomax was let’s just say not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I'll say it again signs Paps move Gutho to left centre..

Gutho will play good wherever you put him and gives 100%

Paps gives that extra speed out the back which will work great with the amount of offloads we have.

given Paps ability to defend, I'd move him to left centre where he has a backrower to help him defend and leave the King at fb as his defense is excellent

His defence seems fine at fullback?
If we can get an early release I could see him playing out of his skin trying to prove the Storm they should have kept him.

Having Gutho at Centre would save his legs he isn't getting younger 😂

Btw attached the screen shot seems it's this ad that kills the forums on my phone.
