With Junior knocking back Redcliffe. Are there any more origin quality players off-contract outside of possibly ponga that they could sign for 2023.

I was being facetious but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think the club cares about public image. They wouldn’t be releasing statements to counter reports in the media if they didn’t.
If they care about public image they would also care about having a strong team, which won't happen if they match every rival offer for our players.

I reckon the Simonson signing was in recognition that Sivo will be gone by the end of 2022.
I’ve been told the Bevan French rumours are bullshit. Not tough enough is the call.
I like Bevan, but for better or worse, I'll never forget the image of him costing Wigan that GF (sure it was a mean bounce, but simply did not look like he was acting with enough urgency).

Additionally, I'd be skeptical of signing him right now for 2023. He barely played last year due to a hamstring injury. Would have to wait and see how he recovers since speed and agility is pretty much the sum of what he offers.

Haze has bulked up. He needed about 10-15% more power to go from poking his nose thru on tackles and having defenders hold on which is what we seen at end of last season to breaking those tackles and making breaks.
If he has gained power he will be miles infront of Sivo.

If not its a coin toss. One works harder, is smarter, faster.
The other is almost impossible to stop 10mtrs out and does the odd great charge.
