The feeling we are all suffering from in anticipation of the change, and doubt if it was the right one.

If MON was favored over BA by Sean and Jim, BA goes, and while having a long tenure the question has to be was Brad the problem or was MON and the R&R team the problem or the doom and gloom outcome, they were all the problem.

MON has been at the club now for 6 years, if within two years there has been no marked improvement with contracts, retention and roster management and club performance then surely his tenure is at an end come October 2026.

As I say, the clock is ticking.

BA was here too long without a premiership. He was also getting stale and running out of ideas.

Like I said in my post, he’s moving on at the end of the season but I still think he’ll be preferred over Jake for the rest of this year if Brookes or DCE are out.

I reckon he (guymer) will be an average first grader, which is fine. But to say this group of juniors are a once in a decade group is ridiculous (and I know it wasn’t you that said it)

I know what you mean but the statement while an overstatement is also probably (sadly) accurate. Even if they ultimately aren’t to standard, we haven’t developed a decent sized group of youngsters of this level of whatever potential they have in 20 years IMO

BA is less articulate than a drunk wharfie having a long weekend bender.

Towards the end I couldn’t listen to his pressers anymore and when I heard how he rubbished the club openly to a podcaster at a game it was the final straw for me. Any empathy that I may have had for him disintegrated quicker than our premiership credentials.
