Best is not worth anywhere near that kind of money.I hope we miss out on him as it will b another toxic contract
I understand your point, but the bloke is a SOO player and wooden spooners aren’t really a destination club, they will only consider coming for money, atm we can afford it and imo, we need it.

Its up to the club and our environment to remove any toxic traits.

He’s not that good a player to command 800k.He made origin by default due to so many centres been injured & due to Joey Johns’s influence in selections.Imo he would b a bad investment albeit I can’t see him coming to concord.

Fair enough, but reserve graders won’t improve us either.

I've been away for a while, stewing.

I'm interested to know what needs to be done to Concord Oval to have it as an NRL ground? If its just the seating why didn't we fix that with the recent center of mediocrity upgrade?

Surely we should be playing where we are training and with the new light rail next door and Burwood Station a short walk away, seems like it has decent public transport to it.

Common sense and West Tigers do not go hand in hand Shredder.

Saying that, it is too small based on "The stadium is able to hold 5,000 people as of November 2022, down from 20,000 when the Concord Oval was opened in 1985." Not sure if that's the council numbers.

Remember the 1st rugby world cup held at Concord and would say there was more than 20,000 packed in there on the Sunday afternoon I attended.

TWT instagram has stated that Stefano has abandoned his top 8 get out clause and has pledged his loyalty to the club, he also implores the club to stop the media leaks?

I don’t think leaks will ever stop but they have certainly slowed for a while. It’s great that he wants to stay, but concentrate on footy, not internal shit like that.

This is how Fox Sports are reporting that -

however if the Sea Eagles want to obtain Twal, they'll need to orchestrate a swap for young middle forward Sean Keppie.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports both players are on quite similar salaries and a swap deal has been put forward.

——-

This was mentioned earlier. But not sure, WHY, if $’s are similar? Twal is 2 years older.

Apparently Twal is now staying according to the SMH.

Happy to keep our try scoring freak.
Seriously though, I think he needs to have a full preseason of practicing his already fair offload skills.
If he could master that, he'll go up another cog. ATM Twally is just solid in most departments but doesn't excel in any.
I like him as he's got WT DNA.
