I don't mind Ronald being demoted. The bloke has been a failure. What Im more concerned with is the prick we recruited in his place.
Im not sure if you guys followed the recruitment of Manly the last two years but their recent recruitment calls have been pretty average. He has not even put his feet under the desk and wants to recruit an $800 000 dud who has been woeful for over a year now. The absolute last type of player we need....unproven, lazy and injured. Im questioning Fulton already.

I said earlier, we won the spoon last season and are coming last atm this season, something has to change.
We need a different direction, we wont know how this guy goes until he starts doing business. The Schuster business started before they said Fulton was coming, whether he had anything to with it, is a guess at this time?
I am happy to give others a go and hope they succeed and pull us out of this mess.
The pleasing thing atm for me is, it appears that they seem to realise Brooks is not the answer going forward, even though Sheens keeps pumping him up.

In fairness I think it is more a recognition that AD will miss most of next year and an awareness that Wakeman, while going ok, is only a journeyman half. With AD out we will need at least 3 half’s on our books next year.

I expect Brooks will be resigned unfortunately.

If we signed them both we would have a quality spine. Top 8 for sure. We could start recruiting players at a reasonable fee.

I actually like the idea of one big body in the halves which Schuster ticks the box in, but if he is going to carry on like a self entitled brat with no commitment to actually being a professional footballer I would pass on him.
This won't happen and It may be an auditors nightmare, but I would rather there be conditions on contracts, that we pay them a base amount, than incentive bonuses increases if the player performs or the team reaches certain levels on the ladder like top8,4 etc. For too long now our club has been paying overs to players that are not delivering on their price tag.
