Frustrated Sheens’ immediate Tigers future in doubt after recruitment debacle

Looks like a power play likely imo, the trouble is Sheens doesn’t have a lot of ammunition.

So much for star signs. So now Sheen's and Benji will put the freeze on Fulton that’s prob definite…and it’s going to be another catastrophic move by Pascoe with support from the Godfather. Especially if it was in Sheens contract for McDonnell to stay … Pascoe acts like he looks. A stoned teenager. Although I’ll add that the stress will be overwhelming for the sensitive Pisces Fulton with zero support from sheens and Benji.. Hopefully it all falls apart and we get Flanagan before it’s too late

Benji wants the gig, he’ll support anything they say.

I think you’ll find McDonnell was probably a grumpy old c#%nt like Gordsy. (Although Gordsy doesn’t qualify for the old yet) Especially when he gets home from out on the piss on sat night.

sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. While next year is already shaping up to be just as bad as the last 2, I can say with complete confidence we will never make the semis while Brooks is here.

Having said that until Hepititus Lee and Pascoe depart it won't matter who we sign to play or coach. Decent management is the starting point.

Brooks has been individually pretty good the last couple of months. He is running the ball well and pokes his nose the line regularly. The problem is that it is not helping the team win games. His organisation is still poor (Penrith game aside) and our red zone attack is terrible. We have lost plenty of close games we should have won. Halves and coaches need to shoulder the responsibility for this.

I hope we have someone else lined up to replace him, because Wakeham is probably going to be even worse. A Hunt or Reynolds type signing would turn this outfit into a top 8 team. Even go after Sam Walker. About time we poached someone from another club rather than the other way around.

It's something Tigers' chairman Lee Hagipantelis has confirmed, telling The Sydney Morning Herald that the deal wasn't acceptable to Brooks, who will now test the market, although the Tigers haven't neccessarily shut the door on the idea of retaining Brooks.

“Luke rang Benji himself and communicated to him that the offer made by the club wasn't acceptable,” Hagipantelis told this masthead on Sunday.

Maybe not GONE over the line just yet?

Chairman Leigh with the goods again. Midseason leaks/instability will put us back on NRL360 every night and the 60 point thrashings will start.

Just when they were a slight glimmer of optimism
