I’m glad he’s going through significant footy (not personal) pain and suffering.

He gave us every indication he was coming, world at his feet and he squibbed.

Gus’s lol bitch.

Still, I’d prefer him coaching us than Tim and Benji. Hopefully he becomes available.

I’ll give our club stick, but by the crikey, I’ll defend our honour across this forum from cheap shots like this:

View attachment 77072

No one touches our Api, not on my watch.
No mate, he went to the Tigers for a longer deal than Penrith offered. And sightly more per year. But if you think he would rather play for a struggling Tigers team over a team that has dominated for the last 3 years, you are a clown.

Nice trolling Alice

But are you allowed to sign a contracted player yet? TBH I’m not sure.

Wasn't trolling. Just passing on information, the way you blokes do when a Penrith player moves on.

Laurie is in the last year of his contrat with W/T. Being able to sign on since November 2022.

and this is the result.
No surprises here. His heart has always been with the Panthers. Add to that he will not be our first choice fullback and more than likely not our first choice 5/8 he will be happier being a reserve grade player at the Panthers than a reserve grade player at the Tigers.

I think it became clear to Tigers fans, coaching staff and Daine that he would be back up at best on a pretty minimal contract.

No great loss. The experiment didn't pay off. I wish him well.

This article is dated September 22.

Is that really what you and the Panthers fans are reacting to?

Nicely said.

He will be a back up to Luai, and a backstop in case he doesn't re-sign.

Like the Peach I believe he will play better in Penrith colours, cause this is where his heart has been.

Attack of the Tyrone May lovers.

I subscribe to the @Vic Mackey book of Dane Laurie.

You have to approach and assess his game carefully. Not to say he doesn’t have promise somewhere.

At at material times, we need consistency.

Better off with 5/10 each game than 3/10 to 7/10 every other week.

It’s been a troubled year for halves and backline and a lot of that attributable to players being well under their optimal for various reasons, including coaching.

They only got him cause we didn’t want him, so much for never ending junior factory?

True.

It feels good to let some steam off at these juve minded boasters and poor winners. Come down here and try to stomp on our heads. f**k that.

They might win their bastard threepeat, but whether they deserve to is another matter.
