Let ‘em enjoy there time in the sun, it’s all a cycle, theirs will end soon enough, hopefully ours will start this century too hahaha

It’s aways fun when they come down here and try to herd us into their mental toilets for something dodgy and untoward.

Gives us a chance to smack em over the forum chopsters.

It’s sad that I have to live amongst them, beat them off with a stick when I visit their high street.

They try to steal my clean Ugg boots.

There’s far too many teenage grandmothers at the riff.

Wasn't trolling. Just passing on information, the way you blokes do when a Penrith player moves on.

Laurie is in the last year of his contrat with W/T. Being able to sign on since November 2022.

All the best to Daine, hope he gets some games and goes well at penrith next year. Shame he was injured a bit in the middle of the season and didnt get an extended run at 5/8 for us as he was quiet good on Thursday night. I think his fullback days are over but could develop into a capable first grade half.

Laurie had one of his better gamers in Tiger colours the other day. One thing to remember though is that that game was against a similar basket case in St George. But, that was a thin ray of sunshine from a greater body of shit work from him over the last two seasons. He has never really seemed happy at the club so I back our club's decision not to retain him.
In saying that, he made the right call to go back to Panthers to build up his happiness and confidence. If the Panthers are largely injury free in the halves area, he won't play a lot of first grade footy. If a halves injury does happen....I think he is the type that will take that opportunity with both hands.

Despite him not being my favourite rl player on the planet, I do wish him well going forward.

Not sure on this one. if Fainu is going to be our 5/8 we need an experienced 7 next to him. Admittedly I’ve barely watched him in the UK however Sezer is appealing to me as his strengths were always his kicking and organizing, plus he’s a right side player and Fainus a left.

Sullivan looks a talent and is a tough little prick, decent amount of cockiness too which I like in a young half. Can play 6/7/9 so id be happy to take him however it Would likely be as a backup/14 so his current deal is way overs.

Totally agree on everything you said.

Yes, it’s a pity we didn’t see it earlier, though I think they were aware, just didn’t didn’t do anything about?

I’d say the biggest issue was when a few guys got dumped to nsw cup the attitude difference was immense. Star and Joffa put in like professionals should and we’re the best on the park. Daine and Nofa sulked and looked like Ron Massey Cup players.

That and TBF Wakeham was pretty good up until about 6 weeks ago. Then when Brooks got injured Laurie’s had a HIA and a couple of minor injuries so he’s only been able to play 2 games.

I don’t mind Sullivan one bit.

Holbrook had the second worst win performance in the NRL but his strike rate in esl was about 80% which is better than Bennet and Bellamy.

He’s a very interesting selection.

I like the way he stood up after his sacking and called the Titans out on a very poor way to end his tenure. Obviously they had their man lined up by then as we predicted here. But it shows Holbrook is not going to be anyone’s bitch, setting fire to that bridge and upsetting their people.

He’s going to have to be careful here and play the political game. We eat people alive.

Assuming Tim calls drinks or is asked to stand aside at the end of this year for his embarraing sub par effort:

Tactically Holbrook should probably let Benji run his own ship, make tepid and meek suggestions (that he knows Benji will ignore) and when next year is a dog, he’s a chance at taking over for 25.

Would one feel better about our prospects with Holbrook in full command?

Well unless we can jag a marquee coach, I think at the least he’s worth a season to see what he can do.

Lee rabbiting on about our much improved squad at 360 this season was utter nonsense.
He was slipping into a chairman delusion by that time. The discredited spin had hold of him. He was sinking fast at that point.

The truth of the matter is that we were doing better with Mbye and Esan.

When Lee speaks, remember it’s not how he delivers the message, it’s the substance of what he is saying. It’s a wonderful thing to have a good grip on the language, the legalese to deploy and to present well.

And how’s the defamation case against Zorba?

While Fulton is kicking recruitment goals, it seems to have died a quick death! It was stupid carry-on anyway.

Panthers star loses $100k in ugly split - but it could trigger move to rival club:

Panthers No. 6 Jarome Luai has lost a huge chunk of change following an ugly split his management but could be set to become a $1 million player at a rival club.

Our new 5/8?
Id rather a 5/8 than a FR for $1m?

Be off to the dogs like the rest of the retired panthers.

Get a grand final and sell out to the Gus.

I don’t understand how many of their fans are so accepting of treachery.

Is it because they are too used to winning?

Dont get me wrong I’m happy for them, but it’s unnerving.

Never say never, wonder how he got on with Api?
Has Gus got a legit $1m hidden somewhere, I think we could outbid him anyway?

However, the Bulldogs are far from the only club that is going to chase Luai’s signature with Weidler reporting the Tigers, Dragons, Raiders and Roosters will have an interest.

—————

At least we are reported to show interest, tbh, if we reportedly could offer a FR $1m, we must have some serious cash available from Brooks leaving?

Get it done Scotty.

He’s a gun player for sure.

Im still very pleased with Fulton at the moment and also the earnest considerations amongst certain officials responsible for his presence.

I’m not against Baked Ham re-signing as a jock type reserve on the Dennis Discount.

I think a season under his belt and different but easier emergency assignments under Holbrook, might be the order of the day.

Players like Bula, hit the ground running but your Baked’s of the world need some real world experience to lift.

I like his attitude.

But Luai is a class act.

The dogs are a career killer club at the moment. Unlike us, they have no excuses.

Apparently some sprint training is required?
