I reckon Brown would make a good assistant coach, or maybe even a development role. Just not a head coach thanks.

I'd be on the phone to Madge straight away offering him an assistant gig at Newy. If AOB employs an experienced coach as an assistant I'd be confident he's headed in the right direction to improve himself.

Madge and AOB go way back, too.

It certainly couldn’t hurt to try it.

I think your post could be read as we will miss out on Madge, Brown and Barrett if we stick with AOB

Surely Brown signed up knowing the move to NZ was very likely and should have had a clause in his contract allowing him out if move came about.
Think it’s just an out for poor performance and avoiding getting fired otherwise why not see the season out.

On reflection I think AOB is safe, only because Uncle Phil's ego is the size of the harbour bridge.

It wasn't his decision to hire Brownie, so getting rid of him wasn't admitting he got it wrong,. It would be with AOB.

I don't think he became CEO making decisions based on emotions and pride. Sure it'll play a part but can't see him keeping AOB if a prime option appears.

I'm guessing there'll be a change in assistants for next season, already 1 is out the door and the other will follow.

Let's hope AOB get's some experienced support. He could do a lot worse than Flano, Madge or even Barrett as assistants ( we have worse at the moment)
