Well from what was seen of the press conference it was the same AOB nonsense. The bloke has zero answers.

We literally have one of the best coaches in the world ready to take over. Let's get the sacking done already.

I think Holbrook's sacking is good for us. Knights don't have to be the first to pull the trigger. Let's get get firing lads!

Saw a stat the other day that only three coaches in history have won a premiership at different clubs

so I guess there is some logic at not going for a proven winner, but trying to find the next up and comer coach
I think it’s a bit of a misleading stat given premiership winning coaches tend not to leave a good situation if they don’t have to.

If Craig Bellamy took over at Brisbane at any point within the last twenty years, I’d bet that they’d win a comp within 3 seasons.

Wait... F**k, I just figured it out guys. We love signing undersized white guys who try hard. That's exactly AOB!!!! He is epitome of our philosophy!! No wonder he isn't getting fired... Looks like a 5 year contract with a 20 year player option is on the cards then.

I've said it before but...
Gardner needs to go first. He's the one constant over all our failures over several years.
Start from the top down and show some accountability.
I reckon if we had Gould, as much as I dislike him, in charge of our 'rebuild' we'd be in a much better position now.

Isn't that why we have Parr?

Are you saying Gardner is micro-managing Parr?

Regardless what anyone thinks of Gardner, there is no Knights without him IMO.

Where did I bring Parr into it?
Gardner has been full of promises and hasn't delivered.
He's not the be all and end all to the Knights or Wests. He's a CEO and that's all.
The Wests Group is NFP and membership based.
Come when he retires or if he passes what then do you expect to happen?
Time to take responsibility.

Well my question is, what are you saying Gardner's involvement is right now? I thought his hiring of Parr was so he can step aside and let someone with footy nous take the reigns and lead this club to better days.

From Weidler's column

Peter Parr and Mary

One of the more interesting rumours doing the rounds during the week has been about the Newcastle head coaching job. Paul McGregor’s name has been mentioned. He has a close association with Knights general manager Peter Parr and has been in camp with Blues and Knights greats Andrew Johns and Danny Buderus. Michael Maguire has also been linked to Adam O’Brien’s job.

Surely not.

Why would any club want to employ any member of the NSW Origin set up?

Years of failure in a two horse race.

We’ve had decades of that stuff as well. We don’t need more.

Isn’t Andrew Johns involved with our attack? And wasn’t he responsible for the NSW attack?

Why does he still have a job?
