Is there a single poster left that still wants him.

Seems like an avalanche, those willing to give a chance consider it taken.

Captain Widdop votes no I reckon.

Make no mistake this is no prowess from SuperCoach it’s pure grit & determination from a under strength Dragons team with plenty of spirit. McGregor should be ashamed for not bringing young Lomax in from the start of the season. Look at what Michael Maguire has done with the Tigers so far they believe in themselves & are coached well unlike our genius coach God help us !!!

Ahhhhhhh only Dragons fans could find reasons for bitterness after such a sweet victory..

We dont know that hasnt happened and been kept quiet. Here's hoping if they have been approached they know he'll be out the door soon.

Things seem to be happening beyond Waterboy’s control.

The team is evolving in its own way due to youngsters getting, and taking, their opportunities due to injury & misadventure etc

Although we could’ve been 0-3, I’ve not seen this level of intensity, commitment & team spirit in many years ((in spite of the now failed spine fiasco where the boys were obviously not sold on it) - and you can measure it in the linespeed & energy in the tackling.

There’s now real pressure on almost every player to perform consistently or risk losing their position to a rising junior or returning regular.

Best possible scenario for any club - and it’s called form & depth.

And it breeds consistency

All we need now is for Waterboy to pick the fittest & best 17 from his now 28 - and do it on merit & for team building & balance

So rotate a different junior into the 17 on a regular basis to offer chances, experience, and a broadened base & pool of players - to allow for player R&R & avoid burnout.
For example this week McInnes should be allowed a 30 min spell with
Robson coming in on the bench.

Lomax giving Lafai a spell.
Bring in Kerr for Latimore.
Field to the bench
Someone for Sims if he’s not 100%

Don’t play anyone half busted as you’ve always done
Waterboy - it leads to inconsistency & terminal fade out

A more flexible offering 4pm Tuesdays might help save ur miserable arrrse

Remember One victory and most people think everything is fine DHS

That's the frustrating thing with Mary's coaching though. He can coach the team to be leading the comp for large parts of the season and then seemingly loses the plot.

Last year, the team was in a great position to be able to be in a position to give themselves a week off due to the injuries and he wasn't able to deliver and had to battle it out. Roll on the semi's and it was a different team.

First two rounds the team was in a position to win both games. Round three it was different team again.

The crushing Jubilee loss should’ve been his coaching swansong

He fails in 2 major ways:

1.
No strategic development of depth across the park by exposing juniors to adequate gametime experience

2.
No rest for key players -
Same 17 usually every week.

There are, of course, many other coaching deficiencies.
