Personally I’d like to see Dufty go to Hooker in the last 10-15. Most of the sting has gone out of the game, his speed from dummy half and support play would be awesome. This would also prevent major reshuffling and give McInnes A rest.

Perhaps, but I don’t think we’ll lose him any time soon. More likely we’ll lose Robson. But I do agree it’s worth considering playing him at fullback. Personally I’d play Lomax at centre, and Aitken on the wing and drop Ravalawa.

We just signed Dufty on a 2 or 3 year deal. He's our fullback.

With all due respect, Aitken on the wing would be a catastrophe. It's been tried before, he was truly awful.

Mary just said in the interview with Fitler that Dufty will play fullback next week. So if he plays, the mostl likely position will be wing.

Really rotten luck for Widdop. He’s been nowhere near his best & looked like he was still working his way back. His season is effectively over.

I thought their defence was a lot better tonight and was sustained much longer than in weeks 1 & 2. I admit Aitken played well tonight but just lacks that touch of class for a top notch centre which Lomax has shown on occasions.

I’m not sure that as he is long term injured possibly career finishing that you don’t get salary cap relief

I’ll continue with my long held opinion that Aitken is a good player, just not a centre. Having a strong running game and speed are qualities you want with your wingers.
Conversely a poor skill set in the reading and/or passing game is not so important if you are out on the wing.

What I’d like to see ( but of course it won’t happen) is Dufty to fullback and Lomax in the centres.

What will happen (forced due to injury) is Dufty to fullback to replace Widdop). Unfortunately Lomax will waste way on the bench.

If we would have released Widdop before the season started, why wouldn't he not be included in this year's salary cap?
