That's what I was thinking.

So if Spags was ousted in 2013, 2 years after is 2015 or last year when we held elections, so fresh elections aren't due till next year, 2017.

I am no expert but listening to others it sounds like there will eventually be a no confidence vote for the current board at the next AGM which is in April or May? So more articles will keep coming trashing the board or previous boards. I even heard Hadley today say Fitzy should be interim CEO to fix this mess. So there is no doubt a major agenda where it ends who knows.

Vote of no confidence. Okay, so firstly you have to get that nominated and seconded at the AGM. Next you will need to have 75% approval at said AGM. From their the club is placed into the hands of the CEO and the directors positions are declared vacant, and the normal election process starts. 4 weeks for Noms, Ballot draw, 2 Weeks for campaign, then 3 Day election campaign, and the question will be will anything change.

Are 75% of members pissed off enough to go the no confidence root???

If we win some games and are in the top 8 I don't think it has a hope in hell of getting up.

But if we lose points and are struggling they are dead meat.

We've all had our share of those in our time

FORMER Parramatta Eels supremo Denis Fitzgerald has offered to make a comeback to help resolve the club’s latest administration and salary cap scandal.

The man known as The Emperor, who is now 66, told The Daily Telegraph the Eels needed his experience from 30 years as chief executive.
“Parramatta has been a major part of my life for 40 years as a player and an administrator,” Fitzgerald said, “I’d be happy to come back and do whatever is required.
“I think they need some experience and that’s what I’ve got in abundance.
“I could be an acting CEO or a consultant or in whatever role is necessary.”
After nine years as a player and 30 as CEO, Fitzgerald was unceremoniously thrown out of office seven years ago when a boardroom takeover led to his sacking.

He will not comment on the current Parramatta Eels administration because he is involved in an upcoming court case against the club over an alleged breach of his deed of release.
“All I want to add is that the club is still dear to my heart and it would appear obvious the board needs some experienced help and assistance,” Fitzgerald said.

Despite his abrupt exit from the club, Fitzgerald still enjoys the support of long-time Parramatta fans and key figures at the NRL.
Parramatta’s latest issues have been uncovered in a Daily Telegraph investigation into third party payments which revealed player sponsors were being offered free corporate hospitality.

The NRL is now investigating payments to their former superstar Jarryd Hayne, Will Hopoate and Ben Smith.
The investigation found the Eels altered the contract of a sporting goods supplier to free up money for the company to pay players on behalf of the club.
Pressure is increasing on chairman Steve Sharp to resign, to pave the way for Fitzgerald to return.
The NRL and its integrity unit continues to closely monitor the latest developments.

So there it is... if anyone believes that this is anything but a Fitzy driven agenda then you're living with your head up your arse. He just wants his club back as it is his after all. f**k'n grub.

Parramatta Eels Chairman Steve Sharp and CEO John Boulous have met with ARL Chairman John Grant this afternoon in response to the recent media speculation.

Steve Sharp reiterated the club's willingness to fully co-operate with the NRL in investigating any matters that have been raised over the past couple of days.

"A number of the allegations relate to matters that were already part of a salary cap review process that the Club has been working closely on with the NRL,” Mr Sharp said.

"We will continue to be open and transparent with the NRL to ensure that everything is reviewed and addressed properly."
