The media has it all wrong

SBW is a huge cycling fan and wants to be in Paris to watch Cadel Evans win the Tour tomorrow

Agree, Brutus.

Just got back from the pub. All the talk is of League needing free tickets to augment figures and of players racking off and of bloody Aussie Rules crowds.

I'm jack of it.

So SBW did to Canterbury what Canterbury did to all the other clubs - the guy is not a traitor to his club, he is a product of it. The lying, greedy, cheating culture that is the Bulldogs has created this bloke - no point whinging about it now.

What else did anyone expect?

Say what you want about the Bulldogs but now is really not the time to sink the boot in bro.

I'm going to go against the grain and say this is the best possible thing to happen. Two Marquee rep players in their prime leaving for Europe in the space of a week is something all the cronies at the NRL can't ignore. The situation has reached tipping point and no amount mumbling "It's a balancing act" by Gallop will paper over the cracks. Hopefully now the NRL will be forced into action through public disapproval instead of the numerous committees and debates that are offered up.

Yep I agree 100%. No-one likes what has happened with SBW however hopefully it will force the likes of Gallop & Co to act.

No...dont start this into an anti Dogs bullsh*tathon.
There was nothing wrong with him at all until a few months ago ...then he turned into a real lowlife greedy dog, coincidentally when he changed managers

Dogs CEO said they'll take out an injunction stopping him from playing anywhere else if he signs with another side

He is acting exactly like a product of his environment. It is the culture of the place. No good pretending otherwise.
